And if it needs to be connected Rits parents then maybe Rits father got to know the truth so she somehow ochestrated the accident too like some truck hitting them etc... mummy malhotra may not know anything bcz its doesnt show in her expressions when she is around Kaamna. But Kaamna can never be sure about it.
