I don't always read up stuff on twitter or Instagram but I've seen some posts before Sumbul announced her departure wherein Gul was really snarky towards Imlie fans... I'm curious, has she continued this attitude after Sumbul announced her departure or did Sumbul leaving shut her up somewhat?

1. Show is doing great in TRP. Yes it's not 3+ but still it's in top 4

2. Even after so much rushing, still there was no dearth of angles or tracks to explore

3. If Gul wanted to one up her ex-creatives, she could have easily shut down the show rather than going for a leap

4. Even if Gul wanted to destroy Arylie, doesn't the channel have the last say? How can they give a PH so much power?

Sorry to have joined late. But I agree totally with this. No rhyme or reason. I don't know or understand or want to be bothered by behind the scenes drama.

But, purely from how the show had fared, this show had probably faced the most hurdles and setbacks than any other that I can fathom. It was doomed from the beginning.

When their original ML left, the makers have been so agile in turning the direction of the entire show👏. From a pathetic, regressive, depressing show🤢, it has become a hopeful, righteous, stoic story😃 showcasing the grit and determination of a young girl who had been beaten down and her no nonsense mentor. With character ASR came the relatability and hope for the show.

With all the poor budget allocations, with no set, Imlie with one blouse and horrific costumes, no cast, the two leads gave their everything to pull along.

Then the axe fell on the story, rush with no story through out the Arpita wedding and pregnancy/infertility track, the show sailed, even though the waters were choppy.

When children came for very young leads, you know this can't go on.

It makes no freaking sense for a generational leap now.

Are they still going to keep the name of the show? How?

Not TOTALLY Arlie related but it will help me get the tiniest bit of revenge against 🌸

S. Chandna and company’s new show on rival channel is coming in at the 8:30 slot. Guess who’s going to hype the HELL out of that show?! I want sitara to realize what a gem they’re losing. Petty? Don’t really care because she’s taking away one of the few escapes we have

She said they didn't leave she took leap. And she doesn't owe an explanation to fans.

After that radio silence. She's writing for ashiqana currently.
