They seem more focused on south and are almost completely ignoring the Hindi belt. Unless they are hoping Rajmouli’s credibility will help with all of India.

They definitely banking on Rajamouli's credibility and good will among the masses. With less promotions in Hindi belt maybe they are confident that the film will work based on the content alone.

Calling something an Astra doesn't make it so.
