Women of substance

hi guys,

u know it got me thinking that nowadays bollywood requires female leads for just one purpose...to add glamour to the movie.i mean there are hardly any movies that give female leads a role of substance. take deepika for instance. i mean her role in OSO was to look good, know how to dance n recite a few lines.(i am a deepika fan)den there is katrina kaifin welcome her role hardly had any backbone.all she did was look gorgeous(which she always does) even in partner.n these r just one of many actress who r facing e same situation. i guess its no wonder they earn10 times less than there male counterpart.another very common thing or might i say is a growing trend in bollywood is the speed at which actresses r shedding clothes. i mean is that all thats left of bollywood??take for example..cash, welcome, neal n nikki,race etc(cant rmb them right now). point is is that all thats left for actress these days?

then there r actresses such as gracy singh who stood by there principles thus bollywood did not stand by them. so i am wondering wats happening to bollywood now? btw plz do share ur views..wud love to hear them.😛

i totally agree with wat u said and this has been bothering for long now. they hardly have any movies with a female lead in it, its usually based on the male. And what u said about kat and deepika, that's sooo true. Especially kat, all her movies is based on how she looks cuz she can hardly act.

what i suggest is that actresses that can act should get paid more and do more movies and actresses that cant act and are just in movies to show off their beauties should not be offered a lot of movies, for example Katrina.
