67th Filmfare Awards 2022 Thread - Page 9

I will be honest it is the best actor popular whose career normally gets elevated the most after these functions. There is a long history. So I am hoping for it be Vicky. Since I would rather see him in more movies compared to Sidharth (who I don't find anywhere close to as talented.) But it's done by now. And it is an award at the end of the day.

ok, this I was hoping for Shoojit Sarkar ji but he has won it many times before. And the Shershah director is talented. So I hope he also goes on to make many more great movies.

I think a lot depends on PR. Alia’s first Filmfare was critics for Highway. But she never looked back after Highway because … well, we know.

Vicky is immensely talented and whether he gets popular, critic, or neither (highly unlikely) he will be fine and will continue to do great work.

Alia also had an adoptive father who was in charge of Bollywood, Vicky doesn't. But lets see what happens.

If they really go with the most popular male performance then they must give it to sid and the critics awards to vicky.

It has always been a balance. In 2015 Padamavat did thrice the business as Peeku. Deepika got good reviews. Piku was also a box office success. Deepika got raving reviews. Deepika won the award for Peeku.

It is the best combination of good acting and popularity of the film.

I think Sid deserved it. Shershaah is probably his peak and I would’ve loved for him to have his moment. Vicky will be around longer and will get more good work ahead
