Verging on casual misogyny here...but seriously everytime I revisit the scene of her talking about cryptocurrency, I want to reach through the screen and knock some sense into her.

I am sceptical about the whole Soha angle to the story. As for Basit, we know that he was never truly interested in Soha, more so the fact that he isn’t exactly impressed with her characteristics. Basit also values loyalty in a marriage so he would never cheat on Ayesha. He’s also attracted to Ayesha, so hopefully by the time Soha returns both Basit and Ayesha would have made some progress in their relationship. Also Basit’s feelings would be clearer for Ayesha.

Maybe Soha would be interested in Basit once she gets back, but he’s not going to return her interest. However, this could disturb Ayesha and maybe at some point she would mistrust him and he would take offence to that. We saw a few scenes in the ost with Basit and Ayesha arguing, also Ayesha leaving the house and Basit following her on the road and bringing her back. I have a feeling that this could correlate to this scenario.

Or maybe I’m wrong, the director has always surprised us with unexpected scenarios.

Very true. Also from the first moment of meeting Soha, Basit had been on edge. After their first proper date when she met her friend, he was quite sure that he did not like her. The whole engagement was forced and he was pretending for the most part. The one time he voiced what he actually wanted (about going with her to Europe after their marriage), they ran into a disagreement and you could see him shutter himself behind a smile.

With Ayesha, Basit had a soft corner for her ever since he realised she had waited to approach him for the money because he was unwell and that she had not touched the money he had left in the car. That made it easier for him to make the announcement of having married Ayesha to his mother. There was that basis of appreciation of her loyalty that is serving as good foundation for his slowly developing feelings for Ayesha..

As for those scenes from the ost clip...i don't k know where where place them because as you said the Habs team has consistently surprised us with the way they have treated the core issues and possible conflicts arising from any situation.

But yes what you say about the potential impact of Soha's return, I was thinking along the same lines...the insecurity will be on Ayesha's end and Basit will have to step up the game to convince his wifey of his love for her.

Yeah maybe she bumps into him at a party or something and ayesha will misread it once she gets to know basit had proposed soha before here. Soha still doesn’t know the truth behind his sudden proposal. Since Soha is at the wrap up shoot she might be there towards the end of the drama when basit and ayesha have solved their issues and in a happy space. Just so that there’s a lil drama before the end. There were few scenes in ost which made me think ayesha is really upset abt something. I think in one scene she’s in bathroom and basically breaking stuff crying. (I think that was ayesha only).

And yess! Especially with Ayesha Omar's posts I felt Basit and Ayesha might meet Soha while they are on a dinner date. I really like the idea of a scene shot on the boat btw! That would be fun to watch...anyway, I think it might be that final crisis where Ayesha's insecurities come out and Basit steps up to show her how much he cares for her (Basit seems to be the undemonstrative type at present so it will be interesting to see that change).
