Total mismanagement by Sony TV this time. Judges and captain missing from the show when the show is near to it's finale.

I am simply mesmerized by sayisha's drum playing and the way she sang,it was so refreshing,new and beautiful. Faiz as always with guitar -mindblowing. I simply loved both of them.

Aug 21 Neha. Kakkar special

Aryananda -samaira :- Not a fan of this Jodi nor neha’s songs. Dilbar was okayish. Arya should now stick to just humming the lines… no point in uttering the lyrics anyways,

Rituraj :- That was one of the best renditions of Tere Naam. Went straight to the heart 💕. Yesterday he sounded bored, he was back in his element today. What a feel this boy has ! Does he understand the meaning of the lyrics - considering his age & his language- I can’t help wondering. He lent a softness to the song, made it so tender & touching. Way to go. Just awesome, 👍👌. One of his bests.

Sayisha :- clearly the episode belonged to her & her idol Pawan. Regardless of what people say, I strongly feel , believe & sense PD’s role in Sayisha’s journey. Can imagine her giving interviews some 10 years down the lane recalling this moment & her inspiration. 👍. Sayisha the rock star & just all of 7. How’s it possible??? Seeing is believing. Such a gifted child & blessed to get PD as her mentor - proud to be their fans 👏👍. HR’s song may be impromptu or practised for earlier - but she aced in the drums here too . This will be one of the most talked-about & viewed segments of this season.
Faiz :- Mile ho - right up his alley; superb. Liked the sawan song too. 👍👌

Mani :- Mahi ve… for a kid that too untrained in music,this was an awesome rendition; but I didn’t enjoy the shrieking at high notes.

Rohan -Pratyush :- sick of the pairing & sick of repeating myself that Rohan scored over Pratyush,

Chetanya -Soyab :- another avoidable pairing. Soyab delivers, Chetanya falters…

Pranjal :- Ye jeevan hai - one of my fav songs. He did well. But give the boy a break. Enough of profound songs; just wondered how kala chasma will be in his voice.
Top 3 for me :- Sayisha Rituraj & Faiz in that order.

Samaira and Aryananda. Dilbar Dilbar (Neha Kakkar version) and Naina (of Dangal). Well... The first song couldn't have been worse than the original anyway. So 🤷. The second one again brought to the fore the weaknesses of both. Kalkar and team really slacking on the job 👎

Rituraj. Tere Naam. Wow! Incredible performance. One of this season's highlights. So much feeling and emotions - how did he manage to get this right! One to watch for the future! The drama around the HR enmity went on for a bit too long, though.

Sayisha. Sindbad the Sailor and Tum Ho Toh. While also playing the drums! Clearly there was another drummer as well, but she wasn't play acting. Bass drum, the snare drum on the left, the left cymbal and the drum rolls - she was doing all of these. While maintaining a calm exterior just the way we have come to know Pawandeep. After her performance HR asked her to play drums while he sang Aap Ki Kashish and she did that too. With PD actively guiding her. Incredible. This too will become one of the highlights that this season will be remembered by!

Faiz. Mile Ho Tum Hamse and Mohabbat Barsa Dena. Very well done. Probably better than the original too 🙂. He claims he is a big fan of Nehal Kakkar but I think it should be the other way round!

Mani. Mahi Ve. Like yesterday. His comfort zone and he did well. But 3x more time was spent on the emotional stuff. Neha Kakkar gave Rs. 1 L to his sister and 5 L to his father.

Rohan and Pratyush. Ladki Aankh Maare (the new remix version) and Badri Ki Dulhaniya. As usual Rohan seemed to be doing better than Pratyush. However, Pratyush did bring in some novelty by way of his beat boxing.

Chetanya and Soyab. Tenu Kaalaa Chashmaa and Ghanti Big Ben Di. Same as above. One better than the other, one being protected. Soyab is getting a raw deal here.

Pranjal. Yeh Jeevan Hai. His voice and style suits such songs and he did well. He will probably grow to be a good performer in his niche.

Team of the week: Pawandeep.

Medals. Sayisha. Mani. Faiz. Pratyush. Aryananda. Agree with some. Not others.

No elimination, no explanation.

Pawandeep. How happy and proud he was during Sayisha's performance! And it also appears that he has gifted her a drum set and taught her. So good to see this bond 👍

Sayli. Her right eyebrow went up when Neha Kakkar announced Rs. 1L for Mani's sister. She, who is supposed to have benefited from a home renovation financed by Indian Idol / Bappi Lahiri! Not good 👎

No elimination. And Aditya said "only two weeks left now for the finale" - so now I think there will be no further eliminations but they will directly give the trophy to whomever they want to. Because the alternative would be to eliminate 6 folks in 1 weekend, which would be seismic!
