I know! Very angsty vibe...but hoping that they have kept the happy and sweet parts unrevealed so that we love it more when we get to see those moments in the show for the first time.

Indeed, it is really special and refreshing to read all the viewpoints and compare details we have noticed and (over)think about. How a topic or scene and words can keep us busy for hours, or days even.
So happy that we have a forum where we can share these things with each other.

Tum/Aap, Understanding, Body language and dynamics are changing. I wonder what the next change will be. Perhaps these two can go on long drives. Car talks are always nice and intimate 😃 at least. Even with his mom Basit had also a relatively ok conversation. and you cannot walk out just like that when you want to 😆

I will watch the episodes again with subtitles, so I can have a better understanding.

I have read all recent posts - all beautiful points!
Just.. I am too tired to respond to all now. Keep writing, keep sharing and I will come back soon to stalk here some more.

Sweet dreams ❤️

Girllll sleep!!! Did you pull another all nighter?! Sweet dreams to you! ❤️

And it is so true about the intimacy that comes in a scene of two people talking inside a car...especially when it is Ayesha and Basit. Before their marriage when Basit had dropped Ayesha off at her home,.it was that setting which enabled Basit to come out of his boss status and ask her about her family. Post marriage this was the first time we got them in a car together and without a third person. I love how this show can create the feeling of intimacy without these two even having to come close to each other physically. This comment of yours reminded me of the films of this Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami. Due to heavy censorship laws in Iran, it is very difficult to show scenes of people coming close to each other. Kiarostami's films are full of conversations in cars...people of different social situations come close through these moments. Musaddiq Malik has done full justice to a scene between our couple inside a car within a romantic context.

Anyway, good night! 🤗

Let me just say I hated the 'almost slap' bit. I wish they would have shown him anger some other way. I wish they had not shown this. It made me so upset. Ayesha's reaction in that instant was so heartbreaking. I really felt for her.

Besides that, I loved both episodes. For me the two episode were all about progress. There were so many moments. When Basit gives her the money this time, he acknowledges that it hurts her ego...unlike the last time he gave her money. He has realized that. When he finds her reading the letter, he talked to her very calmly without getting mad or raising his voice....unlike the envelop inssue. When Basit brings her back from the interview, he talks to her very calmly. He explains his perspective very well....unlike the time he fired her from his office. That time he was a bit more distant emotionally. What I like is that Ayesha expresses her feelings to Basit....when he hurts her, what hurts her, how she feels restricted in the house. Basit has started to reflect upon these. I think this will continue. I loved the 'ke me pyaar kasrta' (my favourite part of the ost) where he reflects on what she said. This is the second time they played it. Basit's first conversation with qudsiya in ep 13 was so different from the second one. I thought that was another progress. During the first one, he looked like he just wanted to get it over with and he rushed her as well. Lol he didn't even say hello. He simply waited for her to say whatever she wanted. He was polite during the second one. ]The fact that he went there was another progress. There was no way Basit would've gone to that house for Zoya's rishta few episodes back. Even if Ayesha had asked or requested, he would've simply said I am busy. He went without Ayesha asking him. I guess he went because he was guilty for the almost slap and reflecting about Ayesha. He is still working on himself and progressing. In the next episode we will get the cake cutting scene. I thought it would be much later when they are in love because Basit was smiling for the first time in the show. I am assuming that we will see more progress in their relation seeing their smiling faces.

It's so interesting that everyone notices different things/details in the same scene. Did anyone notice Basit called Ayesha 'tum' for the first time. I has always been 'aap' which felt very formal because he called her that even when she was an employee. I am not sure if he will go back to 'aap' or if this is another progress....that he doesn't feel so formal with her.

This was such a lovely post to read... and so much attention to small details😳

Yes, I really agree when you say the double dose episodes showcased some great progress. The tantrum he threw over the one envelope vs the calm way he reacted in the study.... the extremely rude way he fired Ayesha vs sitting down on his knees and explaining to Ayesha why he doesn't want her to work... the change in the way of giving money in the first and second time... his behavior has really changed for the better. It is baby steps sure, but growth for his character.

About Basit being rude to Qudsiya over the phone... I think she has allowed that to happen. The first time he went to their house, he was respectful. Of course, at the time, he was also in extreme need of help. But essentially if you see, Qudisya agreed to the marriage in exchange of money from him. So, I don't think he respects Ayesha's mother too much because he knows her greed. Add to this his general distaste for mothers given his own past - and he just really doesn't like to deal with his mom-in-law😆 Tabhi I was so surprised when he said to Ayesha "amma ko bulau" in the car. It was a sweet moment.

I am also of the view that Qudisya has wholeheartedly accepted Basit as not a son-in-law but her son. So, she keeps making unfair demands from him like she is used to making from her daughters. Isse bolte hai apnapan...no formality in her mind😆

He better behave good and respectfully with Bano. I want them to bond and he should ask her sister for tips to manao Ayesha

I love the new ost video. I like the angst that I saw. That one scene of Basit sitting on the recliner and the teardrop falling... And the one where he washes his face over the sink in the bathroom... Can't wait to see these😊

Also there was a scene where Ayesha receives a bouquet. Interested to see what happens there... I like that they kept the happy moments hidden, means we will get a better surprise when we watch them.

About Zoya running away... She has been saying she will do that from the beginning. But I think Aamir will ditch her last moment.

I may be in minority, but I liked the way she shouted at Basit after the rishta went away. Let's be real... Basit has not been very respectful towards his in-laws before this. And to suddenly come and display his authority as the man of the house is double standards.

Plus, it has been clear that the main reason why Zoya is in love with Aamir is because she sees him as the ticket to get away from this hellhole that is her life. What she said about leaving education due to lack of funds or being afraid to eat one roti extra is true and Basit should know of their circumstances. It gave him a view of what he is dealing with and why Ayesha is desperate to support her family. So, I see that as a good thing.

hahaha!! They would have started sharing the room on the night of the reception itself had Ayesha not misplaced the envelope! 😆 How I see it is Basit's wardrobe is in his room which Ayesha has been using since their marriage. So he comes there to change. The scene at the beginning of ep 13 he would have left after changing. Ayesha's words made him stay...hahaha...I love how Basit wants to look at Ayesha and at the same time feels hesitant and shy (18 yr old virgin kya, he behaves like a girl raised in a nunnery) 🤪

Hassan from Something Haute felt things could have led somewhere post-balm scene had the envelope not come in the way 😆

I am with you in loving that bit when Zoya shouted at Basit!! I think I even commented on it in this thread that there must be very few people in Basit's acquaintance who can dare to do this and it will do him good. 😆 And as you said it is important for him to understand the day to day reality of Ayesha's family.

Also I want her words to make him think of this "rishta bhagana" thing she says since I want him to know what happened with Bano. I really want Basit to respect Bano and understand what sacrifices she made for the sake of the family.

I think the Habs team is doing a great job with the PR...till now even with the promos they have managed to keep the best bits an absolute surprise for us...so I think the OST video is only like the sneakiest of peeks into what lies in store for us.
