I too love the Bano and Ayesha bond. This is how sisters are❤️ Really hope Bano is amazing at her job and she gains the respect of Basit and they form a friendly bond.

I realised one small thing - Basit called Qudsia as "amma". Did anyone else notice😳

I missed it the first time around and I was only rewatching to hear that lovely car convo again... But I loved this little detail. I think this is the first time he has addressed ayesha's mom as his mom too.

@ bold he did!!! Though he was referring to her in the third person...but still yess...we shall take that as a development! ❤️😎❤️

next option is she may get medical treatment in time and then starts the patching but I think this option is too good to be true. He needs a big jerk/shock to come back to his realization

That scene in the OST video where he is in the bathroom, white kurta with chest showing, and it seems like he has washed his face with water and looks totally shattered...I am anticipating that will be after he loses his mom.

I really don't want this to happen but steeling myself in case it does happen. 😕

final post for tonight...

So did you notice how many times Basit touched Ayesha in ep 13? And they weren't even posing for photos (before this every time he touched her casually, like out his arm around her, it was to pose for a photo)...so anyway

When they are talking on the balcony, Basit before leaving reaches out and touches her shoulder. Later when he tries to convince her about not struggling over the job before he loses his temper, he takes her by her hand. He lifts her face towards him.

In the car, while they were most definitely not touching, his body language showed he wanted to bridge the distance. He was leaning towards her in a very strange way that for my ocd mind kept making me want to reach out and put the seat belt around him.

Girl, I thought of that as well!! Ayesha's mom was giving me Mrs Bennet vibes from an early stage...I was thinking suppose Mr Bennet had died and due to the entailment the Bennet family had to leave the Longbourn estate, then Mrs. Bennet would have behaved like Qudsia, narrowminded and foolish. And Ayesha and Bano give major Elizabeth and Jane vibes. Zoya is Lydia. So you think Basit will act as a Mr. Darcy? Let us hope so... I wouldn't mind that development...😆

But yes, Zoya will run away. She had said as much and the OST clip proves it. 🤔

oh yeah , and Basit will become the man of the house in literal and figurative sense 😅

I loved reading everyone's viewpoints.

Let me just say I hated the 'almost slap' bit. I wish they would have shown him anger some other way. I wish they had not shown this. It made me so upset. Ayesha's reaction in that instant was so heartbreaking. I really felt for her.

Besides that, I loved both episodes. For me the two episode were all about progress. There were so many moments. When Basit gives her the money this time, he acknowledges that it hurts her ego...unlike the last time he gave her money. He has realized that. When he finds her reading the letter, he talked to her very calmly without getting mad or raising his voice....unlike the envelop inssue. When Basit brings her back from the interview, he talks to her very calmly. He explains his perspective very well....unlike the time he fired her from his office. That time he was a bit more distant emotionally. What I like is that Ayesha expresses her feelings to Basit....when he hurts her, what hurts her, how she feels restricted in the house. Basit has started to reflect upon these. I think this will continue. I loved the 'ke me pyaar kasrta' (my favourite part of the ost) where he reflects on what she said. This is the second time they played it. Basit's first conversation with qudsiya in ep 13 was so different from the second one. I thought that was another progress. During the first one, he looked like he just wanted to get it over with and he rushed her as well. Lol he didn't even say hello. He simply waited for her to say whatever she wanted. He was polite during the second one. ]The fact that he went there was another progress. There was no way Basit would've gone to that house for Zoya's rishta few episodes back. Even if Ayesha had asked or requested, he would've simply said I am busy. He went without Ayesha asking him. I guess he went because he was guilty for the almost slap and reflecting about Ayesha. He is still working on himself and progressing. In the next episode we will get the cake cutting scene. I thought it would be much later when they are in love because Basit was smiling for the first time in the show. I am assuming that we will see more progress in their relation seeing their smiling faces.

It's so interesting that everyone notices different things/details in the same scene. Did anyone notice Basit called Ayesha 'tum' for the first time. I has always been 'aap' which felt very formal because he called her that even when she was an employee. I am not sure if he will go back to 'aap' or if this is another progress....that he doesn't feel so formal with her.

I loved the new OST video, but too many angsty moments. We didn't get any happy moments, I hope this is just to keep it a surprise for the audience and that we get many happy moments. I like the small glimpse where her head is resting on his shoulder and he seems content and happy.

Indeed, it is really special and refreshing to read all the viewpoints and compare details we have noticed and (over)think about. How a topic or scene and words can keep us busy for hours, or days even.
So happy that we have a forum where we can share these things with each other.

Tum/Aap, Understanding, Body language and dynamics are changing. I wonder what the next change will be. Perhaps these two can go on long drives. Car talks are always nice and intimate 😃 at least. Even with his mom Basit had also a relatively ok conversation. and you cannot walk out just like that when you want to 😆

I will watch the episodes again with subtitles, so I can have a better understanding.

I have read all recent posts - all beautiful points!
Just.. I am too tired to respond to all now. Keep writing, keep sharing and I will come back soon to stalk here some more.

Sweet dreams ❤️

What a beautiful post to read first thing in the morning! ❤️🤗❤️🤗Girl, loving this breakdown of the changes that have taken place in Basits behaviour towards Ayesha! And truly yes! He first calls her 'tum' while trying to convince her why she cannot work any more. He returns to 'aap' in the car but shifts to 'tum' when she cries...'tum ne baat aisi ki thi'...'mere saamne roya mat karo'...
