The so called intellectuals can't grasp a simple concept.

It's audience money, if they don't like what you are offering they ll reject and go for something that offers entertainment.

How audacious and snooty you have to be to blame your consumers

Who is the intellectual who said this? Then they don't understand storytelling.

ETA. Kjo is not an intellectual

Oh that 😆. Well it was still the likes of Sanjay Dutt and Karna Malhotra.

Crazy people. Still won't crack open a single book. Won't pay decent scriptwriters. Don't know how to actually world-build. Throw couple of item songs, an overpriced star, copied stunts, foreign locations, and now CGI animals, and they expect the audience to shell out a few hundred bucks to buy a ticket.

When it flops, they whine about audience hypocrisy. Good God, start from the story, man! Then get a decent scriptwriter. Be faithful to the story when you build the world. Audience will show up.

Have you seen RRR ? What is the writing all about ? I read synopsis and I like this would be like if Hollywood made a movie where Malcolm X and Martin Luther King had a fictional adventure together

I enjoyed the movie, yes the sequences are rather illogical but that’s Rajamouli’s way if narrating his stories and when you’re into the movie, everything looks believable for some reason. I liked Ram Charan more in the movie, didn’t quite like NTR. Ram Charan has an amazing screen presence.

Having said that, as a whole, Pushpa was more entertaining followed by KGF and RRE ranks third for me, Pushpa simply because the way it connects with both class and mass and the outstanding screen presence of Allu Arjun, RRR is more like a normal day at Rajamouli’s office.

I really hope Rajamouli directs Allu Arjun and Charan together, it’ll be the bigggest of Indian cinema.
