If we stand against wrong and not go gaga over it.

I may look faltu ka gyaan de rahi hain over Fictional characters, that I should leave and move on

But I can't when I see how these shit things still spoil lives of many people across India bhale woh bade sheher se ho ya chote.

Palak, you are doing an admirable job of helping women and children in trouble in real life. It takes courage and strength to do such jobs and you should be proud of yourself. It is not easy working for NGOs and non-profit organizations.
At the same time we are not answerable to anyone except ourselves and our immediate family and we don’t have to prove to anything to anyone what we do and whether we are being good to our family or not.

That said, I have every right to call on the writers and the characters they write on. I have paid money to watch it. It’s nobody’s business to tell me not to watch it. They are not paying money for my subscription, neither am I begging, borrowing or stealing. I pay through my hard earned money.
If people don’t like what I write, they are welcome to ignore and move on. I am not here to get some brownie points or just nod my head for everything fangirls say. I have my own thought process, going to write what I feel. I don’t go to their territory and tell them to stop writing or watching, I have that much decency not to poke my nose in others business.

There is no need to stop sharing our thoughts, if we don’t, our mind is never going to grow.

Karan Wahi is a funny dude and he even calls out the interviewer that they are going to reveal the surprise in their segment what is the point of watching the promo or show lol 🤣

That’s why I don’t mind listening to Kinshuk or Alice’s segment interview from PS, they don’t defend their characters, just explain the scene that is being shot.

The dude and the dudette in that video were cool, trolling their own show 😆 I wish all the actors were like them, not get worked up about how to defend their characters 😆

In the segment VO said ghar ka bacha was taken away with outsider .

Dud he forget thst outsider are kaandyas nit yhe Nani who took him. 🤣🤣🙏🙏

You are awesome Palak! It is not easy to work in these fields, but whatever we can we should.

I don’t do as much, but a tiny share of my part. run my professional design firm. And work as support volunteer for a local southasian organization. Predominately working for women & children facing marital/ spousal/ parental abuse.

Being in position to employ people, have dedicated certain percent For that organization.in various kind of job roles. Some have zero work experience, on spouse visas, so have to adjust everything , legal nitty gritty accordingly.
A small contribution I can do, to give back to community.

past year, when disoo kasnd was going on- had one boy , highschooler , had contacted organization to help his mom! His father tech engineer- 6 figure earning , well to do family. But mom was homemaker, never had worked out of house. Years of history of abuse. Woman quietly took it all, for sake of kids. Kid spoke up, he couldn’t see his mom suffer as father brought in other woman To stay along during lockdown. Woman still was taking it all. But Son said enough. Money - complete control with father. Through temple & local organization son reached out to this southasian organization. And they got them out of misery. Helping her settle beyond dependency on husband.
Boy was looking in to engineering as future, so worked with us as drafter, still works. His mom works in book keeping with us. We trained her and within a year she will be able to find better long term job with visa issues sorted as well.

These abuses, gaslighting, itv shows as Ok, happens, live with it: is not actually ok!
it is widely prevalent & not Everyone gets escape route.

Young fangirls don’t realize it, but that’s the truth.

I know as a viewer difference between fiction & facts! Reel & real. But there is also a certain part that reflects each other.

me being Aunty : that I am. That too a alien species who does not mind putting in views out there.
I work- I cook- do home chores- work chores-I exercise- always there for my teens- i live - I work- run 2 businesses- and do random rakhadpatti on ITV : my supposed to be mindless timepass!
So yeah. I am full 100% as is, Aunty! And completely own that!

I love and respect all the work that you do for women and children in need. I interned at a non-profit organization for domestic abuse help and it was emotionally draining because of all the stories we used to here. The fact that you do it for living is just really commendable and amazing, you should be really proud of yourself for all the good you are doing.

Whenever I see the request for angst in Shivi's story it bothers me because of how regressive that sounds. These people refuse to see what is wrong with fictional characters and refuse to call out the story because they like the actor. What they don't understand is that the actor isn't involved in writing the character. Refusing to acknowledge the problems with the character is enabling these regressive stories, which is actually a shame.

Just posting the synopsis for RWSP who are going to watch it this week, will definitely be a skip for me😆

I managed to watch the shaadi episode last week, skipped pati-patni previous week, this week not again😆
