Honestly speaking, I didn't think you take this whole bashing business this seriously., toh mazaak mein extend bhi kar diya. Had I known it was serious business for you, I wouldn't have given two hoots and would have ignored, like I do many of the members.

Look I don't care what box office numbers and pundits say. I have a few reviewers and friends whom I rely on for feedback. If they like a movie, it is a hit for me.

Well deserved. Darlings was a refreshing watch. Didn’t expect this kind of a mature drama and dark comedy on Netflix. Such a well written movie with amazing actors 🤩

Not sure how good the viewership is. But the movie was good and all actors did well. Vijay Varma was outstanding.

Small achievements for the Kapoorni Bahu? But I thought she was on Amitabh’s level? Shouldn’t her achievements be grander? Since when does she celebrate small wins. Even her Gangu underperformed (as per standards). She should’ve been able to earn 200Cr at least given her massive stardom na?

It was an excellent movie. Alia is making very smart moves as a producer.

But this is like andho mein kanha raja situation. You can never measure success of a film by the number of hours viewed. I can watch the film for 15 minutes and give up and it will still be counted as a view. Plus account sharing leads to multiple views from the same account. It's as inaccurate as TV ratings. Netflix still won't be able to tell how many people have actually watched the film unlike theatres where there is accountability for every ticket.

Netflix globally has 220 million subscribers and people are jumping over 10 million 'global views' over a film lol. There is a reason why these films initially made for big screen are being dumped in OTT. So that they can get away with the scrutiny of the film underperforming in box office.

Same is the case with theatre, I can buy ticket, then if I walk out after 15 min, still that ticket will contribute in box office collection.
