Great relationship between Dev and his step-mother

Hi everyone 🤗

I liked how so far we have been shown that both Dev and his step-mother have a great relationship and understanding 👍🏼

Its different from the clique, where Dev actually respects her like a mom and she also appreciates the efforts for the family, rather than expecting them 😃

They seem to discuss issues properly, like the afterday ritual and she is trying to also bring happiness to Dev's personal life 😳

It seems she is also someone from humble beginnings and the soft corner she had for Vidhi's home cooked food 😆

I want to see how she joined the family. Was it simply for sake of the kid Dev? Was her relationship a parallel too, where she had a great age difference between herself and Dev's father.

Well she does look young so could be she and devs father had a good age gap..I just hope she doesn't turn evil and isn't secretly involved with the best friends duo ..itv has this propensity to turn stepmothers into villains.

I agree. I mean they can show insecurities such as maybe she feels threatened by Amba and other people's words but at the end still decides to support Dev.

Basically not a villain but maybe a women who is stuck between caring for all her children, despite their different interests.

Her son seems to not be fond of Dev, as feels Dev being a good son reflects bad on him and pressure on him. Kind of like sibling insecurity.

Yeah,I really like the step mom and her relationship with dev, I just hope she remains a positive character...we already have enough negative ones (amba, dev's friends, Vidhi's chachi) in the show.

While she was with Vidhi she sounded down to earth lady and came same type of back ground as VIdhy hope she stays a positive lady and also I am afraid of he so much trust in Kanika and her husband ,some where it rings a bell ?-=-

Ya, I prefer characters who are mixed. Like they do not have to be goody two shoes but not outright villain's either

Ya, the friends seem to be backstabbers. Hopefully the family supports Dev in his decision to seek happiness too.

Only thing it should not look like some kind of creepy or grooming, due to the younger age of the women here.
