Na re. I just saw a poster with names of multiple serials. So asked out of curiosity. Haven’t seen any clips or episodes yet

Atrangi is the new limited episodes channel - every show has fixed number of episodes beforehand. No idea how the shows are doing though

Limited episodes is really a good thing. At least the story is well concluded. They can restrict to 50-100 episodes and tell a good story

I think when actors are cast for the shows or they go for auditions they already know what channel and what slot the show might come on. I think if the PH is a big name like Rajan or Ekta they would know the time slot way before time. Other small PHs may be they will disclose only later. Like MHRW was supposed to be late night show but then got the early evening slot. So these logistics they might know only at the later time. But the channel would pretty much be decided by the time the actors audition for the role.

No idea on that - But usually the actors do know what show and what channel when they audition. Usually they know the outline and basics of their characters too and are supposed to act that out so that the casting directors can see whether the actors look the part or not for the show.
