I agree. I found Veronica such a 3- dimensional character. She was not perfect, nonetheless a good human being for letting a stranger inside her house. Meera tried to be an equally good friend, but I find it super creepy that she had to fall for Gautam out of all people, the person who her supposed “sister” was banging. I was like girl, there are plenty of fish in the sea, go maaro your muh elsewhere, why ruin such a good friendship for a lame a** guy? I mean how hard is it to maintain a safe distance from the guy your best friend is hooking up with? She did backstab her, even if not intentionally. Same for Gautam, he cheated too, though I wouldn’t blame him for not falling in love with Veronica because that’s his choice and it’s something which can’t be forced but did he have to get intimate with her best friend out of all people?How casually he was telling her that he loved her best friend, as if she would take it positively, I guess the timing was very off, no one in her place could have taken it in stride, I felt for her when she broke down crying 😭 She was too nice a person, had I been in her place, I wouldn’t have let either of them touch me with a barge pole.Originally posted by: SmittenKitt3n
and i agree with you here. :) Veronica and Meera shared the kind of friendship where a little bit of courtesy and extra carefulness around each others' feelings are to expected. Expectations exist between people who call each other friends. Just because they didn't owe each other anything on paper doesn't mean that they were as good as strangers. People and relationships aren't strictly transactional, they're usually messy with ties/bonds that demand honoring each others feelings/emotions, in my opinion. At least letting Veronica know that she's developed feelings for the guy she's been bonking would have been the right step before kissing him and acting like she found her soulmate all of a sudden after months of being totally repulsed by him. Breach of trust is breach of trust no matter the situation and Meera broke Veronica's trust in a massive way. Gautam was an a$$wipe. 😆 The typical hook up with the bad girl and then marry the "good girl" trope made me wanna barf too.

Guru ji took Sameer under his wing believing him to be a sanskari lad, little did he know that this little 5ft2" cretin had his lecherous lusty eyes on his daughter. Sameer was a predator, he preyed upon the incredibly innocent and naive Nandini, she was so innocent that she didn't even know how babies were made, bless. ❤️ He violated the Guru-Shishya code, betrayed his Guru's trust, your Guru's kids are off-limits, they are supposed to be like your siblings, not for you to do rangraliya with, did the Pandavas ever hit on their Gurus daughters? hell, I don't think even Duroyadhana ever transgressed those boundaries. 🤢
When Guru-ji found out that he had inadvertently let in a laundey-lapade in to his house, and that Sameer has been grooming his daughter, he had to make a difficult but necessary decision, her short-term happiness but lifelong misery and suffering, or, short-term unhappiness but lifelong happiness and love, sometimes you gotta do the necessary evil for the greater good, so he married her off to Vanraj. A decision that was wrong in the moment, but turned out to be the right one in the end, as Nandini realises what it feels to be in love with a man, as opposed to a 5ft2" launde-lapade.
It's been 23 years since Vanraj-Nandini got together, Nandini has moved on is a living her best life with Vanraj, in a mansion with 6 kids , she calls up her dad every night and thanks him from the bottom of her heart for what he did. Whilst Sameer's music career tanked and has been reduced to singing in bars in the redlight district areas.
All is well that ends well. 🤗
