My father makes Saturday and Sunday ka breakfast every week.
Whenever there are guests so poori toh banti he hain 😆, papa and other male members goes in kitchen to serve warm food to the ladies.
IMO, men should also learn to cook because it is an important life skill. You cannot be eating out all the time. I am glad to read that men in your family are amazing cooks and making an effort👍🏼
My Dad and FIL knew nothing about cooking when they were alive and we were 3 daughters in my family, so we were trained to cook before marriage to be self sufficient.
But my husband and Jethji ate amazing cooks. I have been married for 20 years now, got married very young, moved to the US and the first month or so my husband used to cook for both of us until I got used to the place.
Till date either Saturday or Sunday is his day to cook, he will do everything to scratch - cook both breakfast and lunch and whatever is left over we will keep for dinner.
He will start bugging me on Friday itself, which day is he going to get to cook, Saturday or Sunday?😆 And when I tell him the day, he will come up with a menu and these days it will be according to what my kids want.
We are vegetarians, so he any World cuisine you name it he will come up with a vegetarian/vegan option.
My kids are exposed to all cuisines because of him - tries to recreate it for them and every single time tastes so good. So when I go to India by myself, I won’t have any problems leaving the kids with him, he will just pamper them with their favorite food😆
My son knows cooking because he needs to know, but my daughter loves to cook and bake and Dad’s big helper every single time 😆
