I just hope nothing ugly happens in Men's finals. Which reminds me of women's bronze match. Whole game hindi commentators kept taunting the organizers about the bias in Semi. And 3 decisions went against India in bronze match. Thank god for review system it was over turned. And in the shootout one decision went against us when the commentators said it should have been in favour of us. Thank goodness for the Wall Savita who made all these immaterial.

But again apart from these things, indian team needs to be strong mentally more. So that when we face Aus more, we beat them and don't get intimidated.

Ex : after the infamous Sydney test where aus and umpires cheated till the limit and Anil kumble said something like 'only one team was playing cricket', India won at Perth and then the CB series. There is a very good article on the CB series win. https://www.icc-cricket.com/news/787962

I remember commentator saying if NZ took referral why Didnt India too?

It's in our mentality too. Chalta hai chalne do, aage ho jayega. We don't go full throttle.

Yeah I remember about this series. Aussie couldnt belive some browns can answer them back.

If they will cheat again FIH will apologize. And Indians will let go🤔

Me too she was total surprise. I know lovelina coz of Olympic and nikhat coz of her rift with marykom. Chalo good thing she is carrying the legacy forward.

Dutee Chand has all the hype and news because of the controversy (was tested because of too much hormones and whether she was actually a women) but hardly any performance. Always finishes bad. Other 2 were just upto no match. India needs 4 Hima Das for a medal in 4x100. 😆 One of them in the making Priya Mohan. Dutee needs to live up to the hype now and we will have a solid team. There are also some good prospects in u20 (from where Hima came).

Also we need genetics also for 100 m. Long distance and endurance we are getting there but 100 m is tough and need genetics. Maybe import some desis settled else where. 😆

What hima can do when she is lead leg. Not the same level of opponents but if not a win can definitely get a Bronze in CWG. https://youtu.be/AIAquq9pZ2U

100 ms is very far far away dream. Africans aren't gonna leave that podium in near future.

Boxing is huge in the UK. There is a TV channel Box nation dedicated to boxing in UK. Still most of them couldn't match up to India. 😆

I have noticed one more thing. After adding Shooting and Archery too most of the medals have come from physical or violent sports. 🤣 Maybe the Mahabharat era warrior Indian spirit is waking up. All the non violence and ahinsa crap hasn't had any effect. 😆

And I am most curious about Deepika kumari in archery. I used to here so much praises about her, world no 1 yeh voh,but in Olympic she always fail.🤔

Because Olympics have nations that focus on sports particularly and dedicatedly. Like US/China/Japan/Korea. So much so that Tejaswin Shankar (CWG high jump medalist for India) had to train in US and win NCAA championships and then he qualified for India. India has started taking sports seriously only now in last few years after Khelo India. It will take long time to consistently win in Olympics.

Deepika case is similar to Kohli. Just win everywhere in bilaterals and other ranking events. But fail in Olympics/World cups.

This is what changed in cricket after Ganguly. Reply back. But couldn't perform. Then during MS we replied by performance. And in Kohli era we are replying both by actions and performances. Now in rohit era its time to win events.
