the only reason I can think is to try draw out sympathy for imlie and what a sad situation she is in. maybe that works for some viewers but for some, it will not. like ranijain pointed out, it just makes imlie look very inept and that she can't survive without aryan. it looks like imlie does not have what it takes to survive on her own and therefore, her words of 'girl power' is just words. not a good look for a female lead. 🤷

I had this thought before as well but forgot to put it out in the forum-What exactly is the role of BM and BD in the story? All they do is provide some comic relief sometimes or are used to troll the FD with their dialogues. When they entered the show they were the main villains. With their chindi stuff they brought AryLie closer. During Jo track they were shown to be joining hands with her initially but later on it was only Jo who did the scheming. They were not even remotely involved. Now in current track Malini mainly is the one to push the story from the antagonistic point. So what are they left with?

I have no clue either. since aunty blue keeps wearing mile long sindoor, I have been waiting for long to see uncle blue appear. he hasn't. also, does baby doll have no parents? no idea on that either. it really seems they are only there for comic relief. at least they get good scenes in that regard. feel sorry for the actors playing sundar, arpita and narmada. they seem to have no scenes other than being imlie's supporters. such a lack of character development and waste of opportunity to have other arcs.

Faloodaji... expecting a TV show on national GEC to have the same logical story treatment like we see in K-dramas or even in our regional shows is futile. Mainly because they have to make it work as a long running show that gains TRPs. Rest of the explanation I have given you as my reply to your post in Keva's thread and through PM. That will convey what is my stand now w.r.to the show.😊

kekeeke... good writing and bad writing exists everywhere! 😂

that said, no matter how talented actors are, a production house should pay attention to engaging storylines because ultimately, that is what drives TRP. 😊

The writers are honest in their approach through various ways

Malini informed it is Imlie Part 2 today

Cheeni will be given more prominance.

Aryan has already found a partner which is Cheeni, his friend.

The most ridiculous part is yesterday Imlie mentioned she is not going to work in that Pagdandiya times. Today she is working with same and willing to have Aryan as her boss.

Why should she not sit in Cheeni ki dukan and manage that grocery shop well? As anyways she doesn't wish to use her talents and take better jobs. Her whole education transition to job was always questionable. She got free bees. Easy internship, Easily became CEO too for 1 day)

Writers have some great plans for Imlie

lessons of day : Cow Dung can ensure no mosquitoes come. Beautifully taught by Ms Imlie from Pagdandiya.

as for cheeni, if they had shown her as a kid questioning and being perplexed, it would have been more heartwarming. there is a show on star bharat with karan and even the promos, I found it so sweet when the child is innocently asking why she doesn't have a father and blinking rapidly when people ask her questions. it is a very child like response given her age.

by doing the reverse and giving her dialogues above her age, it backfires on some viewers like myself. instead of thinking self-sufficient, I think "typical anoying bratty TV kid 🙄🙄"

this is something i was really rooting for. indifference on Imlie’s part. pretty saddening that those hopes were dashed today. 🤷🏽‍♀️😕

that isn’t Cheeni’s shop. that is just a grandiose gesture on Aryan’s part. he was getting his ‘Anuj’ on, and honestly, it was very unflattering to me. the fact that she refused to work with him yesterday but went right back today, i think, shows some willingness on her part to bite her tongue down, swallow her pride, and do the necessary for her family. and i’d really much rather that.

Yes my concept of girl power and feminism is very practical so sometimes what I see is hard to accept or digest (which i had mentioned in earlier post with @handlerxsaviour)........

Education teaches you lot of things and also gives you confident to live in world. Imlie can be heartbroken, sober, more matured but doesnt mean her education and what she learnt in city is lost. But here she has only regressed to condition worse then what she was before her marriage to aaryan.

They only show her fighting, talking back or solving issues......her mannerism is now seen in cheeni which we can find cute in a kid (because child actor is very cute), but actually is borderline badtameez in reality.......as audience all we are asking makers to show Imlie growth curve......which means, her way of thinking, way to react to ppl, way she speaks or even carry herself. A fool speaks while a wise listens. Forget about wow clothes, simple change they could have shown is way she dresses up. The cost or brand of clothes are not important but dressing also has etiquettes, and one is suppose to dress according to place and situation. What is the use of dupatta around her neck if she uses it to tie around her waist. Rather give her loose kurtas without dupatta or pin cotton duppata on one side.

Anyways, i can go on and on but sometimes it makes sense to ignore elephant in the room for own sanity:)

In response to your points
a. Absolutely truth. The writers did not give a proper thought about Imlie's post leap characterisation. The titular ckt doesn't have much depth within her. This makes the audience disconnect with her. Cheeni's dialogue makes me realise that this is what Imlie always wanted to be but never could be. So yes cheeni > Imlie.

b. Aryan has been jealous before as well. Of AKT. Before their marriage. He never wanted Imlie to go back to AKT because of course apart from thinking about her well-being, he was in love and was jealous. We already saw him jealous for a bit on Wednesday's episode.

c. BD and BM shouldn't have been in the show post leap. The only thing they do is quarrel over Anu about who would Aryan marry lol. So useless. Arpita has been such a great ckt post leap. I would rather watch her bajaoying Anu and Malini than BD, BM, Anu scenes.
d. Imlie’s post-leap appearance. maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but to me, she just isn’t looking like five years have gone by. there is no clear distinction between her ep 310-413 look and post-leap look. personally, i’d like them to make the post-leap promo look she had on (i.e open hair, sheer makeup w/ eyeliner) her constant look for this phase.
