What I don't understand, is the obsession of some with BOI-verdicts. Basically, they just say that the respective movie didn't earn a loooooot of money, they don't say anything about the quality...that is something only a viewer can determine...and this only because of the personal perception.
I would not associate Rajkumar with "privilege" but with terms like acting skills, hard and good work, interesting character choice, courage, perseverance.
I did not watch each movie he did but those I've watched I also enjoyed - and his performance always made the character relatable to me.
The whole debate about insider/starkids and outsiders/not-having-filmindustry-background bores me. Looking at other filmindustries and even more looking at humanity, nepotism is part of human life.
When it comes to a filmindustry, I think, in the long run the actor's work-quality is more important than the family background.
