Exposed Part 1

Dedicated to my friend Naina_Writes who wanted a KKB story on this theme.

Ranbir's mother Pallavi accepted Prachi as her daughter in law for the baby and conducted a function to celebrate Prachi's pregnancy.

Shahana went to the verandah and bumped into a boy.She was surprised to see him as it was Aryan.

Shahana:Aryan!Where were you?

Aryan:I went abroad with dad.

Shahana:Why the hell did you leave for abroad?Here all are suffering and you are enjoying.

Aryan:What nonsense!You are talking as if I was celebrating as you all were suffering.I left with dad as there were problems between mom and dad and I felt that dad was right.

Shahana:Here everything is so messy.Rhea claims that she is pregnant with Ranbir's baby.Prachi has no peace of mind.

Aryan:I know.Ranbir told me everything.That's why I came here to support him.

Shahana:Good that you came back.

He smiled.

Prachi was getting blessings from the guests.

One old lady:God bless you with a sweet baby who looks like both you and your husband.

Ranbir and Prachi smiled.

They:Thank you.

Unknowingly Ranbir and Prachi smiled at each other.

Suddenly Rhea roared.

Rhea:Why only Prachi's baby is getting blessings?My baby also deserves blessings.

Suddenly a slap fell on her cheek.All were shocked to see that person.It was Disha.

Purab was near her.Aliya was shocked.

Aliya:Purab!You left me for Disha?

Purab:Stop it Aliya.

Disha stared at Rhea.

Disha:You want to know why your baby is not getting blessings?Because there is no such baby in your womb.You are not pregnant.

All were stunned.Rhea was shocked.

Disha:You are just like your Aliya buji,Aliya fooled all of us.She made me believe that she has affair with Purab.She said that she is pregnant.I thought that no woman can lie about her pregnancy.So I left Purab even though she requested me to believe him.But years later Purab and Aryan came abroad and we met there.I realised that Purab was right and women like Aliya can also lie about pregnancy.I am ashamed to believe her.I won't let the history to repeat.

She looked at Prachi.

Disha:Prachi..please don't do the mistake which I did.Rhea is brought up by Aliya and she is faking pregnancy just like Aliya did.Aliya faked pregnancy to separate me from Purab.Now Rhea is faking pregnancy to separate you from Ranbir.

Prachi looked at Ranbir emotionally.

All were shocked.

Aliya was embarrassed.

Aliya:Stop it.Disha is lying.

Purab:Stop it Aliya...Don't say a word against Disha.Disha does'nt lie.It's you who lies,I am sure that you only advised Rhea to fake pregnancy.

Aliya was irritated.

Ranbir:Prachi....I told you that nothing happened between me and Rhea.But you did not believe me.Atleast now you believe me.Right?

Prachi looked at him tearfully.

Shahana:If Aliya buji was faking pregnancy,how was Aryan born?

Disha:Aryan was my baby.Aliya stole him from the hospital and made everyone believe that he is her baby.

Shahana looked at Aryan in shock.All were shocked.

Aryan:Yes Shahana.It's true.Dad had also found the truth as he heard Aliya mom and her best friend Tanu discussing about it.That's why dad and I left Aliya mom and went abroad in search of Disha Maa.I got my Disha Maa.

Disha kissed Aryan's forehead and said:I got my lost son back.

Aliya could not tolerate it.

Aliya:Stop it.Aryan...they poisoned your mind against me.It's not true.You are my son.

Disha slapped Aliya.

Disha:How much will you lie Aliya?Are you not ashamed to lie?

Purab:Some people have no shame to lie.

Rhea asked Aliya.

Rhea:Buji..I trusted you completely.Tell me..did you really do such a cheap game to separate Purab phuphaji from Disha aunty?You really snatched a baby from his mother?

Aliya was silent.

Rhea's eyes became wet.

Rhea:I never expected you to do such a cruel thing of separating a baby from the mother.I lived separately from my mother for years as my parents were separated.So I know that pain.So I can never forgive you for stealing a baby from his mother.I never tried to harm Prachi's baby to separate her from Ranbir.Because I am not cruel like you to separate a baby from her mother.

Prachi looked at Rhea emotionally.

Aliya was shocked.

Aliya:Rhea,I always supported you in your wrong steps too.Still you are blaming me?

Rhea:Yes.Why the hell did you support me when I was wrong?Why did'nt you correct me when I was wrong?

Aliya was shocked.

Aliya:You proved that you are Pragya's blood.That's why you turned against me.

She raised her hand to slap Rhea.Suddenly police men came.

"Aliya Mehra...you are under arrest".

Aliya was shocked.

Aliya:Why?Why are you arresting me?

Disha:Because years back you stole my baby.

Purab:Inspector...arrest her.

The police men handcuffed Aliya and dragged her away while Aliya kept screaming.

Purab and Disha smiled seeing Aliya getting arrested.

Aryan's eyes became wet.Shahana saw it and held his hand.

Shahana:Aryan...I always found you funny and irritating.Now you are crying?

Aryan:For years,I considered her as my mother.Can I ever hate her?I will always have soft corner towards her.

Shahana felt sad.She could understand his pain.

Shahana tried to wipe his tears.Suddenly he embraced her and wept.Shahana was stunned.

Aryan broke the embrace and looked at her.

Aryan:I am sorry.I got a bit too emotional.

Shahana wiped his tears with her fingers without saying anything.Aryan was staring at her through out.

Pallavi went near Rhea.

Pallavi:Rhea..I always supported you.Tell me the truth.Are you fooling me too?Are you faking pregnancy?

Ranbir:Mummy..I am telling you.She is not pregnant.You trust her more than your own son.Rhea is a liar.

Rhea screamed:No....I am not lying.I am pregnant.

Ranbir:Don't lie Rhea.Nothing happened between us.Then how can you be pregnant?How much will you lie?

Rhea:It's true that nothing happened between us.But I am pregnant ...I am pregnant with Sid's baby.

All were shocked.

Rhea:I lied that it's Ranbir's baby to be accepted as Ranbir's wife.

Pallavi slapped her.

Pallavi:I did a big blunder by trusting you over Prachi and Ranbir.You fooled me.

Rhea wept.

Prachi cried:Why did you play with our emotions Rhea?Thinking that you were carrying Ranbir's baby,I was going to leave this house.

Rhea was crying.

Prachi looked at Ranbir.

Prachi:I am sorry Ranbir for not believing you.I hurt you too much thinking that you betrayed me.You pleaded me to forgive you continously.But I ignored your tears cruelly.Please forgive me Ranbir.

Ranbir:No Prachi...don't...atleast now you understood my innocence.That's enough for me.

Ranbir and Prachi embraced each other emotionally.

He wiped her tears and held her hand holding her closer with the other hand.

Ranbir:Don't cry too much.It's not good for our baby.

Prachi nodded.

Ranbir's father Vikram and his mother Dida.

Pallavi became emotional seeing it,

Pallavi:Prachi..I though you don't have a heart and only Rhea has it.Sorry Prachi..

Pallavi burst into tears.

Prachi became so emotional that she hugged Pallavi.Ranbir became very happy.

Pallavi:You kept telling me that I am doing a mistake by not accepting Prachi as my daughter in law because if my blind love for Rhea.But I did'nt listen to you.Sorry beta.Please forgive this mother.

Ranbir:Mummy...please..

He hugged her.She cried.

Aryan stared at Rhea.

Aryan:I considered you as my real sister.I can't believe that you could stoop so low.

Rhea cried.

Rhea:I know that I was wrong.I was blinded by love and did many wrong things.Please forgive me...Prachi...Ranbir...Pallavi mummjiji...I realised my mistake.Please forgive me.

Pallavi:You have no place here.We can't forgive you.

She pushed Rhea out of the door.Suddenly somebody held Rhea.All were shocked.

She pushed Rhea out of the door.Suddenly somebody held Rhea.All were shocked.It was Siddarth.

Rhea looked at him emotionally:Siddharth!

Siddharth stared at Pallavi.

Sid:How could you push a pregnant woman chachi?

Pallavi:Siddharth..Rhea was fooling us.

Sid:I don't know what Rhea did now.But however how could you throw out a pregnant woman?

Pallavi: She hurt you also.Then why are you supporting her?

Sid:I was hurt by you also chachi.Ranbir also hurt me by not trusting me.

Pallavi and Ranbir felt guilty and sad.

Pallavi:I had apologized to you Siddharth. Now also I apologize to you.

Sid:No need of apologizing again chachi.I had already forgiven you.If I can forgive you all,why can't I forgive Rhea?

Pallavi became upset.

Rhea looked at Sid emotionally.

Rhea:You forgave me Siddharth?I did not even apologize to you.

Siddharth:To forgive a person,we don't need apology Rhea.

Rhea and Siddharth shared an emotional eye lock.

They broke their eye lock.

Ranbir said to Rhea with a smile:Siddharth's love is true.That's why he forgave you easily.

Suddenly Ranbir became serious and rude:You left a loving husband for me when I don't love you a bit.

Dida:When you made Siddharth cry,didn't you think that his tears will snatch your happiness?

Rhea felt upset.

Rhea:It's my mistake. It's my mistake that I ignored Siddharth's love.It's my mistake that I hid from Siddharth that he is going to be a father and it's my mistake that I lied that this baby is Ranbir's.

Siddharth was shocked.

Sid:What did you say Rhea?You are pregnant with my baby and not Ranbir's?You were lying that it's Ranbir's baby?

Rhea nodded painfully.

Siddharth was shattered.

Sid:You hid such a big thing from me and snatched my happiness of being a father?How could you stoop so low by lying that you are carrying Ranbir's baby?

Rhea wept.

Rhea:I know ...I was wrong.But I realised my mistake.

Siddharth was silent.

Pallavi:Now you understood why I threw out Rhea?I am someone who always stood with Rhea.But this time she crossed all the limits.That's why I pushed her out.

Sid:I understand your emotion chachi.But you didn't think that Rhea is carrying this family's baby in her womb..my baby.My baby also has the right to be safe.Right chachi?

Pallavi became upset.

Pallavi:You are right Siddharth. I didn't think that way.I was blinded by my anger for Rhea.

Vikram:Pallu...Sid's baby is also our grandchild.Forgive Rhea for the sake of the baby.

Dida:Yes Pallavi.I also don't feel like forgiving Rhea.But the baby is ours.For the baby,Rhea has to be here.

Prachi:Please forgive Rhea mummiji.I will look after Rhea.

Ranbir:This is the difference between you and Prachi.You kept hurting Prachi.Still she is trying to take care of you.

Rhea felt more guilty.Her eyes were full of tears.

Pallavi:Ok.Rhea can stay here.Siddharth...once I asked you to leave because of a misunderstanding. Though you forgave me,you hesitated to come back here.But now please I myself is requesting you to stay here.

Vikram was very happy.

Siddharth:Yes,I will stay here.

All were very happy.

Ranbir:I am glad that finally you agreed to stay here.

Vikram:I am so happy Sid beta...

Vikram hugged Siddharth.

Dida told Pallavi:I am so happy that finally Sid is back to us.

Pallavi:Even I am very happy mummiji.I was sad when because of a misunderstanding,I threw out Sid.But now he is back.I thank God for that.

Dida smiled.

Ranbir went near Prachi.

Prachi:Ranbir!

Ranbir:Prachi...now you don't hate me.Right?

Prachi said emotionally:I never hated you Ranbir even when I was angry with you.

Ranbir:I know that Prachi.Even when you were fighting with me,I didn't give up as I had love in your eyes for me.

Prachi lowered her eyelashes.

Ranbir:Prachi...you misunderstood me and that why you were angry with me .Now do you trust me?Now did you understand that there was nothing between me and Rhea and I had always loved only you?

Prachi nodded emotionally.

Prachi:Yes..I trust you Ranbir.

Ranbir smiled.

Ranbir:This is more than enough for me.You started trusting me again.I can't tell you how happy I am.

Prachi smiled.

Ranbir:You love me.Right?

Prachi replied without thinking anything:Of course I love you Ranbir.

Suddenly she realised what she said and blushed.Ranbir was smiling at her.

Ranbir: I love you too Prachi.

She smiled.

Ranbir:Since everything is fine between both of us,will you permit me to share your bedroom?Can I shift to your room?

She nodded with a blush on her face.

He extended his hand towards her:Promise?

She held his hand:Promise.

Ranbir felt so happy that he embraced her.

Purab and Disha smiled seeing it.

Disha:God bless this beautiful couple.

Purab:I am glad that no one could separate them like how we were separated.

They looked at each other emotionally.

Ranbir shifted to Prachi's room.

Siddharth-Rhea in the room...

Sid tried to leave the room.

Rhea:Where are you going Siddharth?

Sid:Many times you kicked me out of the room and I slept on the floor.You never wanted me in your room.Then now why are you asking where I am going?

Rhea felt upset.

Rhea:I am sorry Sid.

Sid:I told you that I already forgave you.But I can never forgive you for hiding the fact that the baby is mine and holding Ranbir responsible for your pregnancy.

Rhea was shattered.She tried hard to control her tears.

She thought:I deserve this as I hurt many people who loved me.

Sid:But I will take care of you till my last breath as you are my baby's mother.

Rhea was touched by his words.

After some months...

Ranbir and Prachi were playing with the baby.Their baby boy is named as Pranav.

The baby uttered:Pa...Pa...

Ranbir:No..I want you to call me bauji,not papa.

Prachi:Ranbir...be patient.Pranav is not even one year old.That's why he is not calling you bauji.He is not calling you papa.He is just making some sounds.Once he starts talking,he will call you bauji as you wish.

Ranbir:But I am impatient yaar.

Prachi:Ranbir...you are...

They both laughed.

Ranbir:But I am so happy Prachi..you and me with our baby was my dream.I am happy that it has become our reality.

Prachi:But I am sad Ranbir.Because I wanted papa and Maa to be with me when I deliver our baby.But they ...

Rhea and Siddharth have a baby girl and she is named as Shivina.

Rhea kissed her baby who was sleeping in her arms.Then she placed her baby in the cradle.

Prachi came there.

Prachi:Shivina is sleeping?

Rhea:Yes.She was playing a lot with my fingers.She even pulled Sid's hair.Poor Sid!

Prachi smiled.

Prachi:You have changed a lor Rhea.You have become calm.

Rhea:Shivina changed me.I will not nurture her like how I was brought up by Aliya buji.I won't let her become a brat like me.I won't let her feel pain like I have faced.

Prachi was touched by her words.

Prachi:You love Sid.Right?

Rhea was silent.

Prachi:Don't try to hide it Prachi.I know that now you have started feeling for Sid.

Shahana:Maasi!

Shahana and Prachi hugged and kissed Pragya.

Rhea and Prachi hugged Abhi and Pragya together.Abhi and Prachi were feeling awkward to see each other.They remembered how Abhi blamed Ranbir and Prachi for getting married when Ranbir was supposed to marry Rhea.

Abhi:Purab and Disha told me everything.I misunderstood you and Ranbir.Please forgive me Prachi.

I was a bad father.Please give me a chance to be a good father.

Prachi cried out of happiness.

Prachi:I was sad that you were angry with me,But now I am happy that you love me like before.

She hugged Abhi.All were very happy.

Rhea was feeling guilty to face Abhi.

Rhea:You may be angry with me.Right?

Abhi:I was angry with you when I realized that you separated Ranbir from Prachi and made us believe that Prachi separated you from Ranbir.But Pallavi and Vikram told us that you are a changed person.So I forgive you.I am not angry with you Rhea.

Rhea smiled emotionally:Thank you dad.

Rhea looked at Pragya:Mom...are you angry with me?

Pragya:Why are you thinking like that Rhea?No mother can be angry with her children.

Pragya kissed Rhea's forehead.Rhea was very happy.

Abhi:We have become grand parents.We want to see them.

Pragya:We are dying to see them.

Ranbir and Siddarth entered the room with the babies.

Ranbir:Chief!Pragya aunty!

He and Siddharth touched Abhi-Pragya's feet.

Abhi:Hey..now it's not the time to touch our feet,but to show our grandchildren.

They smiled.

Abhi and Pragya took the babies in their hands.

Pragya:So cute.They are just like Prachi and Rhea.

Ranbir:How mean!That means they are not like me and Siddharth?

They laughed.

Abhi:Siddharth...I have seen you only when you were small.I am surprised that now you are my son in law.

Siddharth smiled.

Abhi:I was sad thinking that Rhea did'nt get the man she loved.

All became dull.

Pragya:I was also sad.

Abhi:But now we both are happy to see Rhea happily married.

Siddharth and Rhea looked at each other emotionally.

Rhea said in her mind:Even though you hate me,I am happy as you are with me Siddharth.

Pragya:Anyways both our sons in law are very nice.They love our daughters very much.

Siddharth and Rhea looked at each other painfully.

Purab:Take rest Abhi and Pragya di.

Ranbir:Exactly.

Pragya:We don't need any rest.We want to play with our grandchildren.

Disha:After discharging from the hospital,the whole day you both can play with them.

Aryan:That's what.

Vikram:Yes.

Pallavi:Rhea and Prachi will get rest too.

They all laughed.

Abhi and Pragya got discharged from the hospital.

Aryan went near Shahana.

Aryan:Shahana,I want to tell you something.

Shahana:Aryan...now I am not in a mood to fight with you.

Aryan:Even I am not in a mood to fight with you.But I want to tell you something very important.

Shahana:What?

Aryan:We both always fought with each other.To be frank,though I showed irritation,I was enjoying it secretly.

Shahana smiled.

Shahana:I also enjoyed our fights.

Aryan:Why don't we fight for the whole life time with each other?

Shahana:How is it possible when you marry someone else and I marry someone else?

Aryan:Simple.We both can marry each other.

Shahana was stunned.

Aryan:Will you marry me?

Shahana's face became cheerful and she embraced him.He embraced her back.

Rhea was putting bedsheet over the bed.Siddharth entered the room.

Rhea looked at him.He was looking at her deeply.

Rhea:Why are you staring at me Siddharth?

Sid:I think... you geniunely changed.I had a doubt whether you can really changed.But you proved me wrong.I am happy about it.

Rhea became very happy.

Sid:But please don't go back to your old form Rhea.

Rhea became emotional.

Rhea:No Siddharth..I promise...I will not become the old heartless Rhea again.

Siddharth:Ok..

He took a flower vase from the bag and gave it to her.

Siddharth:I bought it from the shop.Please keep it on the table.

Rhea:Ok.

Rhea kept the flower vase on the table.Suddenly she noticed a note attached to it.She read it:Let us forget the past and start a new life which is filled with love.

Rhea was surprised.She turned back and looked at Ranbir in disbelief.She saw Siddharth looking at her waiting for her reaction.

Rhea:Siddharth...did you really mean it?

He nodded:Yes Rhea..I really meant those words.

Rhea:You really forgave me?

Sid:Yes Rhea.

Rhea was relieved.

Sid:I know that you have started loving me.So if I ignore your love,I will be an animal.Because I know the pain of not getting love back from the person we love.

Rhea became emotional.

Rhea:I love you Siddharth.

Siddharth:I love you too Rhea.

They embraced each other emotionally.
