He's smart and knows the movie is not going to do well (nothing to do with the so called boycott). He's just diverting the focus.

If boycott brigade had the power, Kangu's movie wouldn't have been such a disaster.

Looks like he knows the fate of the movie already hence preparing the ground to blame IT cell trolls for its failure.

Aamir khan no longer perfect ?

It seems to me that Amir has a strong love for the subject of the movie (and/or the book). Maybe it was his long cherished dream to play an Indian Forrest (I doubt that he'll play the Forrest of the book, though).

He has the means to realize his dream (if it was one of his dreams) and - imo - it's okay to do so. However, I think it could be better to ignore every negativity voiced about his project but putting forward what made him whish to remake this movie (and stick through the making despite all the hurdles).

One of his arguments could be to explore himself (and make the audience do the same through Lal's journey) his lovable country India and its people and how being part of India is also being part of the history of his beloved country despite hardships and cruelties.

i am curious to know what they said, he seems to have no confidence in the movie or he is serioulsy rattled, can't think why you wll make such last minute changes

the poor director is not in the equation even naam ke vaaste, atleast karan was there for shamshera and it is his direction

This kind of promotion doesn't give me good feelings...

Kangu posted a story about how she thinks the boycott is manufactured by AK for promotions.....and I can see it. If nothing else, Aamir can use the boycott as an excuse for low BO turnout
