I think Rwsp is helping us increase our reach in top but the time on spent on the show is very less.I think least among top ten shows. Agreed. I just don't get why the writers won't focus on Arpita and Sundar. The actors are married in real life and share a cute, laid-back chemistry and are super likable. The writers can do a lot with these two characters and their cute kid. It's the perfect foil for Arylie's intense, passionate love-hate drama. Surpita can become the safe-place for the audience when all the drama becomes too intense. As you said, give them a parallel track. For example, Sundar can become a restaurateur now and Malini can try to sabotage his business and Arpita and Sundar fight back, in the process get the inkling about how unhinged Malini still is. That would give them something to do. But no, they just stand around looking worried, doing nothing all day while Malini swans about their own house, screaming at their child. Arpita speaks up once in a while but never enough to make much of a difference. It's frustrating.

So Imlie has really spent the last 5 yrs with victim mentality and self pity. She really loves the “woe is me” routine when she has no hero to back her up. Meethi matters not ofcourse. And because of her, Cheeni too is facing the negativity of villagers. I mean, writers really just have made her a laachari bechaari FL who cant do shit in life without being rescued and upgraded by the ML. What an utter disappointment this character has become.

Cheeni and Aryan bonding in the last couple of epis is very sweet and nostalgic. It works. Aryan is riding a big ego now. He wanted his wife to return on her own after he told her to leave him. 5yrs ka big ego which he has stuck to even though his wife was the one who had the MC……..a big downgrade on his graph.

Imlie’s pity party doesnt work. Where has her fire of “gaon ki hu par gawar nahi” gone? or was that fire also dependent on the ML?

The only person I feel sorry for is Cheeni. She is being used as an emotional crutch and because of this she has been denied the better life and acceptance that her own family could have afforded her.

Writers really dont think that what impression of Imlie’s immaturity and selfishness this is giving to the viewer. In 5yrs also she has not one iota of change!

I check in after every few epis hoping to see some growth, but I remain disappointed.

The saddest thing is a lot of the pain Imlie and Cheeni are facing today could have been avoided if Imlie had shown some spine and found another job in the city and asked Tripathi family to help out with the child. The main reason I cant connect with her pain now is because she herself has created this situation by returning to that toxic village and letting go of her college and career. Her marriage didnt work, but marriage is not the only thing in life…..no one forced her to make such bad choices. Now when she cries and has no regret for her bad choices of the past, its gotten old and lame, the same ghisa pita routine.

Now they will show Aryan feeling bad for the condition Cheeni and then Imlie are in and he will feel guilty and he will blame himself and he will be judged the bad guy for the sad life of his estranged wife. And he will have to say sorry to her for the hardships she faced.cWhen in reality she herself is responsible for the sorry state of her life but she will be called “mahaan” when she eventually “forgives” the hero and accepts his charity again. Utter rubbish.

Bold1 - I thought she showed regret today - how she couldn't fulfil her own and Meethi's dreams, how she couldn't save Cheeku and then she got up to change her circumstances.

Bold2 - I can be wrong but I don't think the point of Imlie's condition is to make her look "mahaan". IMHO, it's to show us that she is as broken as Aryan is. Of course a section of the audience will blame him for her misery. But Imlie got a lot of criticims too when we saw what Aryan had been up to in the last 5 year. Was Imlie responsible for his actions? Of course not.

But these two people just can't function without each other. They managed before they knew about each other, before they fell in love. But that was before. Now that they do know each other, have all these memories of loving each other, they just couldn't let go and move forward in a healthy way. They are both stuck and only they can rescue each other.

I do hope when it comes to asking for forgiveness, they both ask.

Why not just use the ones they do have? It's frustrating that these likable, talented actors are being wasted while the show struggles to get the trp it deserves.
