Is Sushmita Sen a better actress than Aishwarya Rai?

Yes, I think so. But it's sad Sushmita couldn't reach the heights of success. But Aarya beats anything Aishwarya has done in the last decade. What do you think?

Watch Sirf Tum, Aankhen, Filhaal, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, etc.

She did a lot of good roles.

These films beat everything Aishwarya Rai ever did.

Aishwarya is personal favorite but Sushmitha is so effortless in her acting..

sushmita has a great, strong personality, ease in public speaking, but I feel her performances are all her playing herself, basically she looks self assured, confident, easy in all her roles.

aishwarya is a great beauty but her personality is close to zero, she is introverted and is disinterested in public life.

so a good director can fill the blank and extract decent performances like slb, mani ratnam or ashutosh g, rituparna etc

when the director/role is bad, she is atrocious as there is no personality to cover it

which is why sushmita has no lows but aishwarya has some good variety and also bad performances

Sushmita is good, but at the same time she lacks something. I can’t tell what it is. She appears to have it all, and yet doesn’t. I feel the same way about Lara Dutta (although she’s given lots of bad performances too)

Yes. Sushmita Sen in Filhaal, Samay, Aankhen, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Main Hoon Na, Main Aisa Hi Hoon is way better than Aishwarya in anything. Also, Sushmita is a very graceful dancer.

Hell no. Sushmita may be a lovely person but she’s a terrible actress. Doesn’t even come close to Aish at her best.
