Was Aishwarya Rai to unnatural to do KJO and Yash Chopra films?

Everyone on this forum can agree or disagree with me, I don't care.  😲

But the question is, why didn't she get more opportunities to do romantic light movies?

Her acting is not natural like Kajol or even Madhuri.  She needs to do period films

or big budget films to make her performances convincing.  What do you think?

I guess that is why Rani and Preity got to do all the fun films - KANK, Veer Zaara, etc.

KANK and Veer Zara were not "fun" films, my dear loony friend.

Taal was far more enjoyable than half the rubbish YRF came up with back then. The only reason people watched YRF movies is SRK and his own brand he brought to movies, and even that can only take you so far if the story is truly abysmal, case in point JTHJ. 

She's none the worse for it in the end cuz where are Preity and Rani today? Anyone know what they're up to? 😈

Yash Chopra was to launch her in Hindi with a fun rom com but it didn't happen. It was later decided by him to have Sridevi, Juhi and SRK in Dil Toh Pagal Hai but Sridevi didn't like her role and the story. So Yash Chopra took Madhuri. After she was cast Juhi refused to play second fiddle to her. Urmila was signed in and did shooting for some days but later Yash Chopra felt she was not perfect against Madhuri. Then Urmila got replaced by Karishma. 

Aishwarya Rai was in Yash Chopra's son Aditya Chopra's Mohabbatein but it was a brief role. The main attraction was Humko Humise Churalo song. Only for the song and having a Lata Mangeshkar song she signed the film with promise that Yashji would take her in his next film. She infact signed a three film deal with them.

She was supposed to do Veer Zaara but SRK refused to act with her due to Chalte Chalte incident with Salman.

 Yash Chopra knew Aditya Chopra wrote the story with Aishwarya in mind but when SRK refused then Yash Chopra offered her another role Samiya Siddique. This role was first offered to Pakistani actress Nadia Jamil but she was pregnant that time. So Yashji was looking for another actress. When he couldn't take Aishwarya for Zaara he tried to take her in the other role. Again problem was with SRK. He just couldn't tolerate her at all. So, Yash Chopra took Rani.

Later no big banner signed Ash due to SRK's request. Rakesh Roshan tried to cast her in Koi Mil Gaya where she was the original cast but again SRK's influence in the industry couldn't let him to sign her.

Aishwarya was upset that no big banner was signing her. Even her ex boy friend Vivek Oberoi said in KWK show that its bad that no big director is taking her for unknown reason suddenly after giving prior commitment.

In Simi Grewal's chat show Aishwarya revealed that there were many directors going to do films with her after Devdas but she didn't know why at last moment they backed off from signing her. 

When her bollywood career was at stake Yash Chopra gave her much need blockbuster Kajra Re song and then role in Dhoom 2 despite SRK was not happy with the decision because it was SRK who threw her away from many big films, not only with him,  also with Hrithik in KMG.

After getting Kajra Re Aishwarya's career was saved by Yash Chopra.

She then did Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodhaa Akbar which is considered a classic film in her career.

Its SLB who gave her stardom but its Yash Chopra who saved her career by giving Kajra Re song and Dhoom 2.

I found her acting in Mohabbatein to be one of her best performances. It was a short but very impactful role

What was SRK's deal? I can understand him not wanting to work with her in Chalte Chalte but why did he make sure she is dropped from so many films?

Well..not at that time..issue happened when he was dating Katrina..at her famous bday party.

There can be commercial reason too..maybe he was vary of inviting trouble n disruption on the sets like on Chalte Chalte
