Though in my last and the only show I have watched properly, the leads were kinda dating, but why is it soooooo rare in ITV

Coz the PHs of ITV are under the impression that Indian viewers needs to keep to the old traditional values. So they should be shown only EMA and bigamy and any dating before marriage is NO NO, coz it is against tradition😆

Haven't you seen every one dresses in Traditional wear like saree or Salwar after marriage and only vamps wear western clothes. I really feel bad when I see the actors in off screen occasions, how disconnected they must be feeling! Why is ITV shows backdrop still stuck in about a few decade back!

Just a guess. Looks like Gurleen might be pregnant or something.. that’s the secret she is being forced to hide from her would-be-husband. This would explain the frequent fainting spells. The family want to hide the pregnancy somehow… till the marriage is done.

Umm but her dadaji knows too about her fainting. Do you think any dadaji will be okay with his granddaughter being unwed pregnant. Atleast they will force her for abortion

Exactly! What is up with Taiji always just appearing out of nowhere to twist Ginni's arms and warn her about something or the other. Aunty ji, your beti is getting married, how about paying some attention to that instead of torturing Ginni?

I found the behaviour of Taiji very unrealistic. Mothers would do everything to hide mistakes in their daughter’s wedding and she is making a full blown tamasha in front of the guests.

The free barsaat of slaps is also ridiculous! IMO, the slap to the girl and boy should have been the highlight, instead of slap to Ginni. Slapping Ginni takes away from her character and makes her seem powerless. Slapping children is also not okay, but it’s something that is culturally understood and has a shock value.

Anyway, atm Taiji’s character is coming across worse than Supreet’s. We can always tell how a person is by how they treat people they consider inferior to themselves.

From epi one it said she is ill 😳...Doc has changed her meds....Supreet even mentioned hw she ll get married with this illness🤔

Exactly, she keeps saying to Ginni that "meri beti ki shaadi mein koi galti nhi honi chahiye,yada yada" when she is the one creating a scene and ruining the atmosphere. She honestly needs to chill. That slap was totally uncalled for. Even if you catch a couple of kids stealing, that is not the way any civilised person would behave with them. Just slapping whoever, wherever. She is getting unbearable honestly. Let's see how Ginni reacts. She can't slap her back but I hope she atleast gives a fitting reply to her😡

They knew it was important to be careful and complete the duties of their one big opportunity. Even Ginni told them clearly to not make any mistakes. But still..
