Maan was looking at Sam angrily as rest of team members looked on…anticipating a huge fight between them…But, Maan didn’t say a word…Just handed an envelope to Adi….

Maan:- Am leaving the gang…

All:- What??? (all were shocked at what Maan said, even Sam was expecting so many things but didn’t see this coming…An instant regret covered his face) What are you saying?? (Everyone was trying to knock some senses in MK but he heard none…a few even dragged Geet’s name for this for him to say something but he remained silent…And Sam, only observed him…silently)

Maan(turned to leave but then stopped and looked at them all...They badly wanted to hear him say something):- We have been together for so many yrs…In those yrs, I always thought we all know each other very well..But, I was wrong…I never questioned anyone if someone was dating the girls in our gang…or outside of it…Coz I respected everyone’s privacy until it affected the work…But, you all…didn’t think anything…From the day one, I met Geet…You all opposed in all ways… But, I remained silent…did I ever say, I like her…she likes me or we dating anything???No…. Coz there wasn’t any such thing between us… I just cared for her …her life and her well-being…But, today am confessing…Yes, I do like her…but she doesn’t…and I don’t force her to like me…Its up to her…But, this….what he has done…is something beyond I can take…She is in this condition all coz of me…Am the responsible one… You all have always interfered in my THIS matter… But, from now on…You don’t have any right on me… since am leaving…

Yash(cut him):- You can’t leave us….

Rahul:- We won’t permit you for this…(He added)

Maan:- Sir approved….so I don’t need anyone else’s permission now… But, if ever…anything bad happened to Geet…I swear I will kill him there and then…(He said that as he looked at Sam in particular) It was a nice working with you all…for all these years… Good bye…

With that he left from there and everyone only stared his back…None had courage to say anything…Since whatever he said was all right…They all now looked at Sam…who was the cause of this damage…Who looked away from all piercing gazes…. And when the silence was too much to take, everyone started leaving one by one…leaving Sam to ponder over…He thanked all of them silently for not putting blame on him…so openly…But, he knew what he has done to his Team and now what he needed to do for his Team…To stick together…ARYANS-MK have gone through and overcome so many hardships in all these yrs but this was something caused by an internal member…He was in dilemma but this time he let his ego loose to his regret and he decided talking…

As Maan left her house, Geet had a sigh of relief…Sometimes she hated his dominant self…that she had to obey his commands…But, sometimes it also made her feel, she wasn’t alone in this world…There was always this guy from recent yrs, who cared for her genuinely…helped her in all her daily life matters…That there was someone who she could rely on…A small smile spread on her lips thinking abt his caring…She didn’t know what was the future of their unspoken relation..Nevertheless, she felt blessed to have him beside her in all her needs…The doorbell rang and she came out from her thoughts…Opening her door, she found Sam in front….she was surprised and angered at the same time…

Sam:- Hi…

Geet(‘s harsh reply came):- Why are you here??? To witness with your own eyes the damage you have caused…See… I can’t move my arm…Satisfied???

Sam(with attitude):- You don’t have to be too rude with me…I can explain….

Geet:- Don’t wanna hear….You can leave… (With that she was abt to close the door on his face but he forcibly came inside, angering her even more) What….are you doing….Do you think, am timid now??? I still can fight you…Just get out…

Sam:- Listen to me plz…I will tell, what am here for and will leave without creating any further mess…Just give me a chance to speak…

Geet (gave in and waited for him to speak):- Fine…You only have 2 mints…

She led him in and he came inside….stood by the table…trying to formulate his sentence….and she patiently looked up at him…waiting for him to speak…

Sam:-Am sorry for whatever you went through coz of me…But,am a selfish man Geet…It took a lot of courage for me to come here…Am here for a reason…I don’t know if you know this or not…Maan has left the team…Now its only ARYANS….without MK… He left us for you…(He looked up to see her surprised face, knowing it was an info for her) Am fool who thought aggressively without thinking…Its misunderstanding on my part for hating you…thinking you will destroy our team…

Geet(cut him):- Why are you here??? What do you want from me…

Sam finally sighed and looked up to her…saying what he meant to say to her…and once he was finished Geet didn’t say anything…He waited for abt a mint but then stood to leave, thinking she won’t help them…Geet followed him to her door…as the door opened, both found Maan standing ready to knock…The 3 were shocked at the surprise entry of each other…Geet-he just left why is he here, but then she saw he brought some food for her…Sam-didn’t know where to look…at Geet….at him…or at floor….

Maan:- What are you doing here??? (Geet looked on as Sam didn’t answer and Maan was abt to kill him with his anger filled gaze…He was so much possessive for her…she never knew that)

Geet:- Why are you here??? (She asked Maan instead, who glared her and slightly pushed her to the side and came inside…Sam got a chance in that and went outta there)

Maan:- I need to talk… (With that Maan closed the door on Sam’s back..and guided Geet inside)

Geet:- What are you doing???

Maan:- Why was he here???

Geet:-He just came to inquire abt my injuries…

Maan:- Or let me say…To ask you to persuade me for rejoining the gang knowing that I won’t say no to you???

Geet(was speechless):- Wow!!! You know each other too well…(Maan looked away at her joke) So, you are joining back, right???

Maan:- No…

Geet:- But, he too knows you well you won’t deny me….

Maan:- Geet, stay outta this matter…

Geet:- Do you ever stay outta my matters whenever I say you?? Now too, you are here for this….But, not giving me…Am starving…

Maan then realized he still was holding the food bag in his hands..He gave that to her…and followed her to kitchen helping her taking out the food in plates…They were talking, forgetting abt Sam….Neither Geet persuade him further nor Maan asked abt Sam….They were in their own world of the two…

Next day,

Naina has visited Geet and after checkup…Naina went to kitchen and started to make a healthy soup for her…While Geet smiled at her…She has been a great friend …once done, both had their soup and then Naina started…

Naina:- So, what are you gonna do now???

Geet:- Well, my Dr asked me to rest for 6 weeks…so guess, am resting for weeks…

Naina:- No, I mean…After that…you are leaving that assignment???

Geet:- Yeah….I decided….wait…How do you know???

Naina (smiled and shrugged):- Just like that…I got to know…

Geet:- Okhh…So, you have spies following me??? I should be careful….(She joked and both laughed)

Naina:- No seriously, you aren’t joining back???

Geet:- No…My Sr and I…have decided…But, why are you interested???Are you hiding something???

Naina(sighed):- You know…Maan…has left the team…and now ARYANS are on their own…They want Maan to take his decision back and join them back…

Geet:- So, I was right….You do know him and all…Are you a part of their gang??? Wait…Are you a member of their girl team???(The realization hit her hard…and her mouth opened in awe)

Naina(avoided answering abt it):- Just got to know abt you from them…I was like wow…I have known Geet for yrs now and there I get to know this news abt her… (She paused and sighed)Geet…Sam and other want Maan back…in the team…Sam is really ashamed…I just got to know it was Sam who gave you this injury…He…We are seeing each other…(seeing Geet’s shocked face, she cleared her throat and explained)I mean…Sam and I … Am in contact with his sister as well…So, I got to know abt this….Look, his intentions weren’t odd…He really wanted good for his team…But, somehow this turned this way and its really awkward now…

Geet(sighed): What makes you ppl think he will listen to me???

Naina: Sam believes…There’s something…between you two…

Geet:- There’s nothing…going on…

Naina:- Geet, you both somehow end up coming together…what is it??? He couldn’t harm you back then, even saved you…and you..you too…don’t you think this is your destiny??? You both are fated …with each other…Stop denying this…accept it…and

Geet:- And???

Naina:- Start dating each other already…Come on…

Geet:- Are you out of your mind???How am I supposed to date a criminal…I mean a law breaker….

Naina:- He isn’t….Its just…his way of getting assignments done…that’s it….

Naina replied confidently as if it was nothing….giving her impression that she knew already what ARYANS-MK were into…and it wasn’t a big deal for Naina…But, it always was in Geet’s mind…that made her not to fall for a criminal….

Evening,

Geet:- Dr. Naina visited today…(She started as soon as her regular visitor got himself seated)

Maan:- Hmm…I know…(was busy in his phone)

Geet:- Things are getting complicated there without you…(seeing him silent she went to take his phone…He only sighed looking at her questioning gaze) Won’t you say anything???

Maan:- What do you want me to say???

Geet:- Don’t do this Maan…He is ashamed…He already apologized me… and am fine…I already accepted his apologies…You, just stop being rude and get back to them…You all are a team, how can you abandon them???

Maan:- Team??? I think, you thought of this as a gang…gang of law breakers???Even i started to think its a gang ...of law breakers...

Geet:- I misunderstood…I really appreciate the friendship bond between you all…See, if you do this…I will only blame myself for it…

Maan:- Don’t…

Geet:- It is coz of me…Then not only Sam but others in your team will also think you left coz of me and hate me…Do you want me to be hated???

Maan:- You are making me emotional….

Geet:- Am stating facts…Don’t do this for me…I don’t want this…Even then, if you do so...I won’t talk you again…I will stop meeting you…

Maan sighed at her stubborn reaction…She indeed gave deaf ears to his all scoldings…instructions….advice…and pleads….Frustrated at her, he just left…leaving a hurt Geet behind…
