Bold1 - Sorry for not making my point clear. I meant that this kid exists only because the Channel forced the show to have one and that's why I can't warm up to her. Her addition doesn't feel organic. The 5 year leap became necessary to include this kid while it has made every character look dumb and callous.
Bold2- This might be my limited interaction with ITV for the past decade but if they can bring back Malini, then why not AKT? I feel like his shadow still hangs over Arylie. Aryan took his accusation back because he knew it was too far, but I wonder if in the darkest corner of his heart he thinks he will always be Imlie's second choice? I guess I just want to see Imlie choose Aryan over AKT in front of everyone.
Bold3 - I also don't think AKT is necessary right now for their current problems to be dealt with. I meant later, after Malini track is finished, then why not bring back AKT for a new track?

Regarding his shadow hanging over Arylie why do u think we are getting a hard reset in the show, they have completely destroyed the dynamics and will now build up their relationship again bcz simple they will be in love bcz they choose each other this time, there will be no insecurities in ASR'S mind anymore that Imlie loved him just bcz he forced her into a marriage.

@purple - What I won't give too have have such a scene. Full Jamai Ji k swagat in PD, Imlu getting irritated seeing her ABP getting so much khatirdari. Their cute banters, twin talk. Jealous villagers seeing ABP treating his Junglee like a Queen and Amma as goddess. Them standing in the rural vastness, a back hug enjoying the sunset or maybe sunrise. šš¤©šš¤©š

as someone who grew up with a depressed mother who took out all her unresolved traumas and heartbreaks on me, i canāt even explain in words to you what it does to a child when their mother (in Cheeniās case, mother figure), the one person jiske bharose they come into the world, is emotionally and mentally unavailable to them and the fear, agony, and deep trauma that it instills in them probably for the rest of their lives. so iām incredibly proud and in awe of Imlie for showing the kind of mammoth strength it takes to set aside her own personal pain and trauma for Cheeni (even when sheās not her own flesh and blood), putting on a wide (albeit false) smile and stepping up like a true parent. she is the mother i needed as a child. she is the mother every child in the world deserves. but does that mean she isnāt in pain? no. in fact, sheās in much more pain. the deeper in pain one is, the lesser they tend to display it. one can neither find the right words to explain what you feel inside (even when people offer a listening ear), nor does acting on it make it go away even for a moment. because they have internalised the pain as a state of their being. i can attest to this from my own life.Originally posted by: new_tvfan
Bold - And the ickiness is magnified 10 fold because Imlie doesn't remember Aryan. The only time she thinks about her marriage, she also thinks about her first marriage. Yuck. Aryan still thinks about Imlie in his sleep, it's as if there is no respite for this guy from Imlie while Imlie is laughing up a storm with her "daughter" and amma. I just don't know how the writers think this will make us root for Arylie to happen.
Yes, Aryan asked her to leave but AKT treated her way worse but she cried buckets for him. And she never contacted the rest of the Rathores! This leap is making me dislike her so much.
Cheeni's actor is cute but Cheeni, like most tv kids acts way older. I am dreading her scenes with Aryan.
