On topic, Aryan should have known better. But I’m wondering if it’s something he didn’t even think about given that this particular law seems to be very lax for people of his socioeconomic status and groups. I somehow doubt he did this out of sheer arrogance of not caring about the law. Will he get I trouble for it? Idk. This could be seen as that gotcha moment some were waiting for against SRK and his family. On the other hand the drug case became such an embarrassment for the drug agency and law enforcement that they might not even look at this in any capacity. Aryan should be more careful going forward though.

Drinking laws in India are more to appease puritan sentiments than actual law enforcement. In Bombay, it isn't really enforced at all. A havaldar who catches rich kids drinking may take a bribe. It's an abuse of power but that's it.

In Bombay, no one cares. When I was in FYJC in the 90s, plenty would go to clubs and bars and order drinks. There were certain clubs and spots frequented by celebrities and people are nonchalant about it. It's live and let live. Cops get involved only when brawls erupt or people cause a nuisance in the streets. So even though Aryan Khan is a star kid who has been under scrutiny, I don't think he would have seen having a drink at a club would cause him trouble.

Ultimately, it's not enforcable. He can be questioned. But unless the bartender snitches he can safely say he chugged a beer or a myriad of low abv shooters.

This is the very first I’m hearing of this 25yr drinking age. I guess Annie Poo’s aloo bhujia joke actually makes like 2% sense now.😆Quite frankly, the general 21yr age limit in US has also never made sense to me. As if those kids aren’t chugging every kind of alcohol you can think of week after week lol

Same. I was wondering why she photoshopped herself with Aloo Bhujia. Didnt know the drinking age is 25yrs in Maharashtra.

You should look around yourself n see how even teenagers are drinking hard liquors in weddings n all. No law is stopping them. I have seen guys around 19-20 yrs of age in family functions taking vodka shots n all. I m pretty sure that Aryan is drinking even before he turned 21. So no big deal here. & It's not dumb behaviour . How could he know that some jerk is creepily making video of him in a private club . I hope SRK's team find that person n report him to police .

It was extremely dumb of him. How was he to know? Because he was just released after a harrowing experience where exactly what you said happened. He was clearly tracked with intent to frame. Aryan was lucky that the bald fellow was stupid enough to take a selfie, or none of the conspiracy would've come out.

It's only been a few days since he got his name cleared and his passport back. A smart person would've been careful for at least some time before breaking even a parking regulation.

I agree the law is silly esp considering the number of tourists who come through Mumbai, most of who would be of legal drinking age in their countries. I really don't care Aryan was drinking either. What I'm saying is it was dumb because of what recently happened. You've got to play the cards you've been dealt, not the ones you wish you had.
