I do not understand how can V even assume his children have any right to Anuj’s or Kapadia’s property as Anupama’s children are legal adults and Anuj has not adopted them. I don’t think even Ankush as a cousin can even stake any claim to it. Barkha is delusional if she thinks Adhik has any right to Kapadia estate, gal you married into Kapadia family, Adhik is your brother not Ankush’s and Ankush is a cousin to Anuj not biological sibling. Even Ankush/Sara would come way down the legal heir order after Malvika and her future family. I am not sure even then, Ankush and Sara have any claim/ right to property as it is a business started by Anuj’s father as an independent business and not a family business where Anuj and Ankush parents had a stake as family property.

True i have known step siblings they do not adopt step father property even if its his own only their fathers and step father may leave some money in their name not property or businesses

Only anuj and Malvika and their kids should get busness and property

IF GK was married and had kids may be they could give GK kids some property or shares as hes their gaurdian as saying thank you for taking care of us

As far as i know law inherited business kapadia and sons go to blood relatives only (like ambanis, tata, birlas) it cannot go to Shahs and ankush kapdaias etc as their father did not create it

Ratan tata may have taken tata and sons to great heights but JRD tata started it so its family business Ratan tata has to give this blood relatives shares in equal nos(brothers and sisters if any and their kids) even if ratan tata brothers and sister never come to office or rare no effort. Of course Ratan tata is good human he will give all 1000% to his siblings in will for sure but same cannot be said of anupama devi. She may give to Shahs you see which Malvika will not like at all.

No matter who put effort(anuj here) it ggoes to Malvika her kids and anuj and his blood and adopted kids

regardless of who is entitled to what share of the Kapadia assets, it was a mistake on Anuj’s part to publicly announce that all his assets are now legally under Anupamaa’s name imo. this piece of information is what’s making them (and their extended family) open and vulnerable to people like Vanraj, Barkha, and Adhik. the scene from today’s episode where Pakhi overhears Vanraj and Baa discuss Anuj’s intention behind adopting Anu was inserted for a reason. i bet Adhik will use this to instigate Pakhi against Anupamaa.

Agreed, I don’t have knowledge of legalities regarding inheritance but the 100% transfer to Anupama did not sit right with me did not know it’s illegal.

Firstly Anupama has no business acumen, it’s impractical to give Signing authority to her, does Kapadia empire have no board of directors who would object to this. And even if she is given the authority to fulfill the need of ITV Drama, at least show her taking interest in business, going to the office and attending board meetings. It would be Anuj’s duty to make her aware of duties and responsibility of a signatory to such a huge business. Just naming her as the signing authority and asking her to promise that she will not hand over her rights is not enough. She needs to know that the rights and responsibilities are. This could have been a stepping stone to Anuj encouraging her to finish her education or just Anupama having a realization that she is not adept enough to handle the business without her completing education and show some initiative to finish graduation or at least try to learn on the job by ITV logic, and show some progress with their women empowerment theme that started Anupama. But then ITV and even an iota of logic have no relationship.

I really am curious! The empire was started by Anuj and Mukku’s dad and was inherited by Mukku and Anuj. Anuj built it to what it is today.

He married Anupama. But, when he married Anupama, her kids were over the age of 18 and thus adults. Anuj has NOT legally adopted Anu’s three kids.

Little Anu, if adopted, will have the same legal status that Anuj had when he was adopted by his father.

Ankush is a Kapadia and thus his wife and daughter are Kapadias too.

Adhik is NOT directly related to Anuj or Ankush in any way.

So, who will inherit Kapadia Empire after Anuj? Why?

I think first right should be Vanraj Shah !! It is due to the fact that he married Anupamaa 27 years ago that Anuj remained a lovesick bachelor and put all his energies in building the empire ... Anupamaa se Anuj ki Shaadi pehle ho jati toh poora din lecture sunne mein aur “Anu tum theek keh rahi ho “ bolne mein nikal jaata, how would the empire have become this big 🤣
