Ahad's rise to fame was definitely his pairing with sajal. They both milked it as much as they can as well. But sajal also did good dramas with other actors and was able to have an identity apart from sahad.

I think they didn't really spend that much time with each other. The only time they spend were on sets doing back to back dramas. May be they thought since everyone said they look good together they gave it a try and they were way too different.

If i am not wrong sajal has always been more popular than he is. So if he had ego issues he shouldn't have gotten married to a more successful person.

I have only seen a clip of them fighting and her using a knife. I think sajal tend to do back to back shows with whoever she is in a relationship with. Did that with Feroze and ahad.
