Well i don't know if that is what they will show. But i do have a similar thought process for my OS. Without the custody drama but the writer will try to add more drama and won't take a simple route like this one
Everyone said look Ram monologue on how he doesn't hate Pihu and I was excited then they instead showed him saying she is the reason for our separation. Come on Ram, Blame Priya and Krish not the little innocent one .
I get it won't be easy for Ram to see Pihu and I accept that but blaming her for his seperation with Pihu is bit too much.

Yes even if Pihu was Krish’s child he should hold a grudge against Priya. Coz she cheated him. That child made no sin by being born. I get his bitterness for children but him making that statement pissed me off.
I feel this is where it’s heading to paint Pihu as a greedy child who will call anybody papa for a cupcake and who falls for materialistic things… This will be so dumb to judge a 5 year old child who doesn’t know what money buys and joy of materialistic things…. Choosing your blood over inlaws ,protecting your loved ones even when they r wrong in the eyes of law is something Ram has done as well. So it should not be bizarre when MM chooses her grandchild n Sara chooses her son over the justice for Ram’s deadfather .
If Ram can let go of his father’s case just for Shivi’s chooda ceremony then in comparison to that MM and Sara’s fear for Eshaan is more valid . Also it is because of Priya and her alone that justice was met. She risked her life for it .
Having said that , Ram has all the rights to feel betrayed with Soods w.r.t this case and even cut off ties if he wants to but I still don’t think there is sufficient reason to believe that they tried to burn her torture her etc. Soods r selfish but not evil . They have been very loving and caring towards Shivi.
But then since those allegations were Shivi’s last words it has to be respected.
If Ram truly believes that Soods r criminals who tortured their DIL then it makes no sense for him to continue allowing Sandy to work under him, keep in touch with Eshaan, call Meera as Maa again , use them for deal etc etc.
This selective on and off hate for Soods is beyond my comprehension.
Coming to whether Ram should forgive Pri or not ?
I have absolutely no expectations from Ram that he should forgive Pri for accidentally killing Shivi.
But I do expect him to own this decision that it is his choice , he chose to testify against her in court even without seeing her pushing Shivi .
Therefore even without Krish’s lie , they would be separated for 2 years . He chose justice for Shivi’s death over Priya’s health , which is human and understandable. But then don’t claim that you can never even think of harming Priya and that you cannot bear if even a small injury befalls her.
The 2 years of jail separation is very much with his consent and to ever reconcile after this trauma is damn difficult.
That’s why I said Shivi’s death was sufficient enough for separation. Both Priya and Ram are right .
Priya chose Eshaan’s life n future , Ram chose justice for Shivi.
It would have been a nice angst track, I would not have minded Ram putting the Sood family behind bars for harassment case based on Shivi’s last statement ,Pri trying to fight against this allegation, family vs family or anything creative yaar..
Just not this stupid adultery track. They tried to copy humsafar and Ram turning Casanova sleeping or pretending to be sleeping with girls seems copied from KRPKAB , but nakal ke liye bhi akal chahiye na , jo hain nahi inke paas. BALH2 makers just can’t write and direct any track properly .

I have not seen KRPKAB but looks like they went that route. Humsafar, Asher retained his integrity and thats what I liked about him the most. Even in his hatred for Khirad, there was love. He genuinely believed she had cheated him but yet wanted to reconcile with her and he was honest about his feelings. And when he got to know the truth, oh man! That scene where he blasts his mom was epic! I got goosebumps! Coming back to BALH2, they should never have brought up Priya's pregnancy. They could have shown something like Ram getting to know about Shubhu's involvement in getting Shivi to lie and rile up Ishaan. This way he would have taken back his complaint and not been harsh on Ishaan as he realised his own family was at fault too. Then when he tried to get Priya back, they could have shown that while being moved from one jail to another, her van met with an accident and she passed away. And taken the S1 route. Ram would still continue to love Priya and cherish her memories but at the same time aware of his family's truth and then the bonding between Ram and Pihu could have been beautiful. Krish could have parted ways after that and there was no need to retain him post leap. This is a total khachra what they showed. They have copied it from that dumb show of EK's DHTH. Just reading the synopsis on wiki made me feel disgusted. Dumb show it was.
