Humsafar and Balh2 separation cannot be compared as u said..
BALH2 sep is damn illogical ..
Priya lying about Krish and Nandu giving the date to Ram when they got intimate and Ram buying this makes no sense.. It defies all laws of biology. How can anyone know who is the father of the child without paternity test ? Exactly. Even if Priya did have a ONS with Krish, she had slept with Ram many times before that.
The dumbest ever lie n I don't even feel any angst about this especially after Ram eavesdropped the private conversation of Prish and the romantic drunk night they spent.. That was highly illogical.
Hence can't relate to any turmoil the ML and FL r facing because of it whereas one could just feel the pain of Khirad. It would be an insult to compare this nonsense with Humsafar.
About Pri protecting Eshaan that is understandable. He did not intend to kill Shivi . Had he stabbed Shivi to death Priya would not have protected him. Shivi continously hit Eshaan where it hurts the most when he was at his lowest and then pushed Pri too, it was a freak accident . That was a freak accident I agree and Priya's intent was not wrong. Not questioning that. But while she was protecting Ishaan she destroyed Ram. As audience we know Shivi was wrong but think of it from the character's POV. Did Ram ever get to know about that? Lets take a step back and look at from his lens. When he reached out to MM to get details on Varun's whereabouts, MM point blank refused despite knowing Varun was involved. She was trying to protect Ishaan but at the same time she was shielding Ram's culprit. MM betrayed Ram by doing that. He had lost trust on that family coz even Sara shut her mouth. Just when he decides to talk to Priya and clear things he gets a call telling him Shivi is being tortured. What reason does he have to not believe that? Sood family had broken his trust and anyone in that moment without knowing the full truth would have assumed Shivi was being tortured coz Ram got MS and Varun arrested and was trying to get MM arrested. He could never fathom his own brother was capable of staging something like this. When he lands there he sees Shivi falling to her death. Forget an emotional person. Even Priya's mind wouldn't have processed all of this at once. So I cant blame him for reacting like that. Yes then the next argument would be why not forgive your wife? Lets for one second keep aside the fact that Nandu and Shubhu are evil. You get to know your wife accidentally caused your own sister's death. Your love for her might not want to see her behind bars but what about the justice your family will want to seek for losing out a member? Its not an easy position to be in. Lets say a stranger were to cause an accident to one of my loved ones. It was a freak accident but the pain I will feel at that loss will make me curse them to go through similar pain and suffer the loss or get them punished. You would want that person to suffer. And thats only human.
This itself was sufficient for separation. Ram wanting to punish Eshaan , Pri wanting to protect etc etc
Even before this incident happened I hated how Ram put Priya at crossroads forcing her to choose between her mum n husband. He still goes around bailing Shubham . He can protect his loved ones , but expects Priya to cut off from her family n offer him his unconditional support is wrong. Yes what Ram did was wrong. He should have asked Priya to get an explanation from MM. He deserved that but without knowing the truth, him asking her to get her arrested was too much.
She arrested MS, Varun, slapped n threatened to cut off ties with Akki , even decided to punish MM.
She promised Ram that after finding about the truth of alibi she will come back to him with answers. So had the freak accident not happened Priya would have choosen Ram over her own mother. This is exactly what she told Shivi too that she will not get in the way of MM being punished . What more can she do? Till that point I never had any complaints against Priya. In fact she was probably the only one who had a clear definition of right and wrong. But that one lie she uttered is something I cannot get past. I get her reasons but I wish somewhere she realises she has destroyed Ram in the worst way imaginable. She not only made him think she cheated on him but she made him feel he was so unworthy she had to look for comfort and love elsewhere and that is something Ram did not deserve.
Till this point everything is debatable , but the adultery thing makes no sense.. I feel Shivis death got reduced to a joke with this forced adultery separation. Dont tell me about that 🥱 There was no need for Shivi to die in the first place.
