Actually, my opinion is a bit clouded by recent or not-so-recent examples set by different actors. 😛

A few days ago, I came across an old IV of Pankhuri where she said, she was warned when she did Suryaputra Karn because, after her first show which was also a historical one, people assumed she would get typecast. But she chose scripts that she felt would be challenging and her third show was Kya Qusoor Hain Amla Ka? which was completely different from those two.

Then again there is Paridhi. She did Jodha Akbar and then went on to do Patiala Babes. If I'm not wrong, she did a mythological show in between and again came back with Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei.

So when I look at these two, they did manage to break the stereotype and get good work.

But...

A big reason behind their success I think was they didn't settle and actively looked for different roles.

So I'd say, ultimately it's on Harsh. I don't know him personally, nor professionally, so I would wait a little longer before commenting. If he bags something different next time, I'll understand he's trying. If not, that will be proof enough to accept he's become lazy and settling for easy money.

So I'm being diplomatic here. 😛

Well, I get your perspective. Also historic and mythology though similar are different roles, and doing 2 shows and 3 shows makes a huge difference of same genre.

Please by doing one show you don't get typecast, people just have a habit of saying that way. Paridhi took all different roles, so she doesn't even qualify here.

I would highly appreciate Niyati here, as all her shows were of different genre. Starting with youth show, then ymmkd, nazar genre and now CM, intense romantic story.

Even Sanaya is one actress who has taken ditto roles, if you see, not in genre but character she plays is always bubbly, talkative, poor, etc.

You need to make choices!

Like I was extremely pissed when I saw Wahi doing this ultra typical role after the projects he did, but for him I won't say as he wanted to do a show and return back and the break has been very huge! Same goes for Niyati cos she also took short break and am so glad she returned back.

Definitely. In fact, even I got confused when I watched the IV because Historic and Mythology are two different genres. Paridhi, I mentioned because Jodha Akbar was Historic and the second one was Mythological.

But yes, back-to-back three shows is way too much to give someone lease.

Aaj to hadd hi ho gayi. 😆 😆 😆 Matlab, I know such sequences are supposed to be romantic, and yes, like an idiot teenager I did smile during a couple of scenes 😳 😳 😳 but overall I was laughing like Mo as my inner Daayan woke up today. 😈 😈 😈

From sliding along a slope to trip and fall to a snake - sab kuch ek hi episode mein dikhana tha inhe.

Funniest part was the fall because one could clearly see the slope wasn't that curved and the actors were deliberately sliding along. 🤪

Chalo woh bhi theek hain. But I almost spit my coffee when the snake appeared because Kajal (She's an ardent devotee of Mahadev) folded her hands before it and it went away. I know people worship snakes but agar aap kisi jungle mein kho jao aur aap ke samne saanp aa jaye, kaun sa normal insaan tab waha pe khada rahega aur Nag Devta ko pranam karega jaise ki kuch hua hi nahi. Hadd hain! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Plus, Neel ke mu mein ghee shakkar as he finally said something I have been yearning to listen, "Yeh Na Mahaan Banne Wali Aadat Tum Chod Do!"

I was like, ek bar aur bol de mere bhai. Kan taras gaye the yeh sunne ke liye. 😛 😛 😛

Yupppp... Even more hectic now. Lectures plus practicals plus five assignments this semester plus one presentation, practical file work followed by our Internal Assessments. Ab toh matlab maar hi daalenge itne tight schedule se.

Well, not exactly... Regular pain toh nahi ho raha hai but it keeps on recurring every 2-3 days. Will visit the doctor next week for consultation.
