Even before the film's release, viewers liked and anticipated Ranveer's performance due the Khalibali song and all other promotional songs/teaser videos. Certainly, he was a big element of that movie's marketing.

Despite being the antagonist and not even sharing the screen with Deepika , he absolutely overshadowed the other two leads.

Also, I didn't notice audience trashing his appearance at KWK; rather, the majority thought he was the only good thing about an otherwise dull episode in which Karan and Alia just kept yapping about Alia's ‘private’ moments.

He defended Karan at the beginning of the episode by pleading with the trolls not to insult him. In the last game, he accused Karan of being nepo bias(funny manner). He did appear to be a sore loser.

The focus of the audience is on what Sanjay Leela Bhansali will produce for the big screen. His most recent four films have all been box office successes. There is no doubt that Ranveer Singh was not the driving force behind Padmavat's success.

There were many immature things in that episode so I didn’t really pay much attention to that bit 😆 can’t really comment if he got offended or not .
