At least a certain level has to be maintained but unfortunately majority of the shows launching these days have no head or tail to begin with.

I had been waiting forever for Niyati to be back with a bang but seeing this ultra hype, I actually wish it to have the lowest TRP which I know wouldn't come true. 😵

As far as GSMI is concerned, it is receiving enough hype online and as long as it can coexist without spoiling the storyline, I don't give a damn about CM.

But with other shows on the making, thoda to darr Lagta hi hain.

I just hope before they wrap up, at least they complete the love story properly and reveal the truth about Kajal's father.

Thoda fangirling karungi but I'm pleasantly surprised that it's already 60 episodes and the leads or more like the ML is still at a platonic phase in their relationship. Aaj-kal to yeh rare ho Gaya hain ki proper build-up mile. Ab bas love story bhi proper dikhake bandh karein, I'll be more than ecstatic. 🤗

Ab dekho, ummeed pe duniya kayam hain par realistic bhi hona padhta hain.

The fangirl in me believes GSMI is miles ahead compared to that overhyped Albela and CM doesn't even qualify for a decent show. But at the same time, it comes at a time when very few people watch a show. Upar se, Ishhan is fairly new and Pankhuri doesn't have a strong fan base. To story kitna bhi accha kyun na ho, it doesn't stand a chance. Also, people have this weird standard. Like, ek taraf se unhe negativity nahi chahiye. And then again when a cute story is going on unhe woh bhi pasand nahi aata. 🤔

From a neutral POV, Albela thingy is going smooth considering its weird storyline. But I read discussions that the story needs a strong villain to survive in the TRP race. To ab makers ko bhi kya hi dosh dein. Logo ko khud ko pata nahi hota ki inhe kya chahiye.

Aur romance ke naam pe bas proximity. 🤬

I tell you bahen, agar kahaani mein depth ho, to do log agar 6 feet dur bhi khadi rahe, to bhi chemistry dikhta hain.

Par agar aap ko bas bare body samajh mein aye to story gayi bhaad mein and that's what's been happening now. 😡

So, this one was of a fantasy genre where the FL's soul somehow gets transported into into a fantasy world set inside a novel... but she ends up possessing the body of the main villainess of that world who ultimately gets executed. Here, 50% blame is on the lady but the rest 50% is on her family who use her as a scapegoat for their crimes since she is betrothed to the ML ie the Crown Prince of that kingdom.

For reference: ogML (ML of the novel)

ogFL (FL of the novel) FL (the FL who ended up transporting and possessing the villainess)

Chapter 1:

The FL enters the vamp's body and not knowing how to return to her own world thinks that if she lets the story of the novel take its course and die at the end, she would be able to return to her own world. So, she behaves exactly as she is supposed to as the villainess; being mean to the ogFL, creating troubles and so on (all the time secretly crying because she genuinely likes the ogFL's character). So, ultimately, she is executed on the orders of the ogML because her family had been using her identity as the future queen to committ several crimes which they ultimately dumped on her.

Idhar, I could still understand the ogML a bit as to why he had to kill her.

I am not talking about the love story portion because I have nothing to say about that.

Chapter 2:

On dying, instead of returning to her own world, she is sent back in time to her first day as the villainess ie the beginning of the novel. So, this time she decides that she'd retreat into the shadows and let the two leads have their own love story with no involvement on her part. So, she totally avoids the two, has them happily married but again the ogML kills her off just because the ogFL said that she doesn't support bigamy.

And here I lose it completely and my attitude becomes "f**k you ML".

I hope I was able to make some sense with this sort of an explanation...

Yeah. I quite liked the characters there because they somehow looked quite relatable except for some instances. Like for example: the show was about a family of three brothers and their kids. So, the middle brother was a small time businessman trying to secure a foothold amidst others. And as we all know, we all are a bit greedy in some regard. So, his greed for success was nicely shown. It wasn't shown in the negative light as it always is but was shown quite normally like we all generally feel. That desire to succeed without using any wrong means was nicely portrayed.

Somewhere I did enjoy certain scenes... especially those which were light and were sort of mood uplifters. Acting too is quite good so I didn't get annoyed in that regard.

So coming to my ML. He basically is businessman and the company main person is his mom, ofc she is great in business but does too much mahanta, and people read close ones are villains. Ab he's practical and knows this all, but all his mother did was to prove ki he's so wrong always! He proved his points still, upar se aayi FL who is mahanta ki infinity and became secretary of his mom, and both started lectures. He even taunted her, ki you should have been a lecturer.

So he does respect his mother a lot, but wants his existence too, he didn't want to be her robot. So one fine day he resigns and leaves, cos he can't do mahanta and business needs to be done with money and practical stuff too. So ye dono tried to convince him to return back but he's like am not gonna be back if I have no respect or freedom to do business, ukhado jo ukhadna hai. Then his mom confesses that he took has helped company grow etc, misses him. Both miss each other but now he has decided to start his own business. Which is so awesome and amazing, cos you need to give it back to elders and people also. Plus I got very happy where they showed how FL could not solve stuff, like his mom was about to be arrested but bachaya bandhe ne hi, loves his mom but then sayonara. FL gave lectures earlier, how he's so wrong, doesn't care for his mom, etc but he was like talk to my hand, cos views hi alag hai and you should have your peace. So I really loved it, also for the record FL ki bff and him make a logical and awesome pair but obviously itni lucky toh main hun nahi. But I love the bff is she always understands them both and tries to have good atmosphere so all are happy.
