This looks good only by the cinematography i guess, the cinematography is a lot old american TV sorts. But the trailer looked dull to me. I couldnt feel any thrill or bone-chilling horror. I am hoping this will be good.

This one is a dark mystery thriller with slash of horror according to the previous articles. No i dont think there's any supernatural element atleast in season 1 but as you said the writers are Riverdale writers so nothing is guaranteed.
