Fantasy shows can be altered in any way. Alibaba here God knows what they will do. Yaha pe female villain ka hi naam Sim Sim hoga as per article when Sim Sim was said to that magic door.

I guess it's already explored in few ways. In original story, Alibaba was an oldie while Marjina was a slave girl who he later gets married to his son after she smartly kills the thief leader and his 40 men. But in movies and shows they started altering the plots. In some movies they still show Alibaba as an oldie with Marjina as his future bahu but in some other movies and TV shows they show Alibaba as young guy and Marjina as a normal girl not slave paired with him. I some versions they show Marjina killing the thieves while in some other they show either Alibaba or both killing the thieves. I guess in this show they will show Marjina as a princess like Yasmine. All the best to you to give it a try and let's see if you manage to watch even 50 episodes😊.
