First episode " Honest review"

I think it way okayish. I will give atleast 2 weeks to show to get settle down or till the love story pans out as that's core of the show. But there are few fumbles for me.

The OTT meet of the leads. I know Itv tends to do over exaggerated first meets of show and one should not complain about it but I will. All the hair opening I was rolling my eyes.

Apne toh apne hote hai song in background. Is it necessary to play song in background. I find it quite distracting. It's better to use background score.

As it's niyatis first work for me so I won't comment on her yet but karan needs to tone down a bit. May be 2-3% . Angry man doesn't always needs to look hard faced and deep voice. You can show your anger even in calm voice.

Aditya's behavior in finals of a show was totally unprofessional.

Overall it was a bit OTT but I am keeping hopes to settle down within a week or two.

Edited : Hope the food will remain constant in the series.

& exactly! Karan needs to tone down a bit. His pain looked rather funny to me & childish (He looked expressionless). I know his step mother is evil but they haven't shown us that part yet. They cant expect us to sympathise with him, after showing Him pouring hot water on her hand.

The competition was rather an OTT scene, with him breaking stuff & quiting.

His dadaji's hands suddenly became all fine. Couldn't tell if that was a blooper or that's how we should agree to "apne to apne hote hain." 🙄

On the other hand, I liked Ginni's family part. Those were well put scenes, made sense.

I find songs in middle distracting. Just let them gaze at each other.

We know you hate your step mom but you don't need to show it everytime by straining your veins.

Hey Guys. I am another old member of this forum. Coming back after a while now mainly for Karan Wahi! Huge fan since childhood. I was excited for his comeback. For me, the first episode was like a teaser. Everything went so fast. Leads were introduced, the challenges they were facing were shown. It was in a good pace. But my expectations from a show starring karan wahi were a bit different.

Wahi mentioned, he did limited TV because it was OTT. However the treatment of this show seems to be exactly the same. Background scores after every 2 secs, slow motions all the time and what was with that accident mahn!😆Seemed like some merry-go round thing!🤣

I expected a little subtle acting from wahi, considering, he comes straight out of web. Last I saw him was in, never kiss your best friend-2 and he was so nuanced there! The actor karan was absolute delight to watch!

Not impressed by the first episode as much as I expected. Content seems repetitive to me but again, its karan wahi for me. Reason to give the show a chance😃

I hope the story isn't a cliched one. I am strongly rooting for wahi's comeback to be something really to vouche for!❤️

Hi Sukhada! How are you? Do you remember me? 😊 I am Shirsha. I used to talk to you on Naagin 5 forum. I watched the first episode of Channa Mereya. It was good but it was over the top. I am not sure about continue watching. I don't trust ITV and serial makers.

Started watching show as it's Karan's comeback show after so many years.... 7 as he said in his live...

Well i too give some more days to settle but for 1st episode i too feel too much emotions in one epi...

angry male lead and sweet female.... old tried and tested formula... which works well if the chemistry is good between 2... that we are yet to check..

and when u r in some profession we should keep personal and professional things different but well leaving the finale bcz of family maybe something very extra

and the lead's meet with CGI effects was bit much... too.. may be they tried to have bigger impact in 1st day itself

Hey Shirsha, I definitely remember you. Hope you are doing well. I watch TV shows only online. You can do the same. Watch for sometime online, if you feel like following, you can do so!😃
