The album is Amit Trivedi's top work for me. But I have just never understood the love for the film. It tries so hard to be artsy but ends up as boring.

Thank you....I could not finish it and never understood the love it got here lol. The songs were love though

I was grinning like a psycho from ear to ear while watching this song. This is exactly what it feels like when you’re crushing hard on someone. Takes me back to my youth. 😭

And yes ,it IS the best of Trivedi, Sonakshi and Veer's 2nd best after Gully Boy.

One of my favourite movies. And the songs were 💕. Sonakshi and Ranveer were so good in this movie. I am a sucker of period drama and love The Last Leaf. This movie never dissapointed me.

The reason it flopped was because the director was very hard on Sonakshi's character.She was a spinster(her father looked 70+),she made advances towards Ranveer.It was never shown that he loved her..She had not one ,but two diseases-Asthma and TB.When they slept together,the first time..I was squirming-she has TB an incurable,extremely infectious disease😕.How can she go to his room?

Normally ,in films when a heroine is dying..They try to make her as attractive and desirable as possible.

Here she was an older woman and almost untouchable.Why?

Had Ranveer not been shot,he would have died of Tuberculosis anyway.

One of the only films ever,I went on day 1.I was so mesmerised by the music that I promoted Lootera over YJHD here. But I was disappointed.The songs were not used well(except sawaar loon).That made me so mad.
