Reality Check : Aishwarya is a massive flop star - Page 5

I know aishwarya is not a great actress but to term her as a, MASSIVE FLOP STAR' is a bit too much.

She was part of commercial movies in the 2000s and has also balanced it out with female oriented movies such as Provoked, Rain coat (I knw it had ajay devgan, but her character was given more importance). They weren't successful commercially but if you compare the female led films made earlier they didn't make huge money only in the recent times it's getting better.

I know she is not relevant right now like before as her priority is aradhya and it's her choice. I m certain if she was balancing out her career like rani Or kareena, she would have done many movies even female led films as well.

Also she survived in the industry even after the salman fiasco and wasnt part of any camp.(I know u will say it's because she married into the bachann family, but she got dhoom 2 , jodhaa akbar before her marriage. She was cast in guru as well which was before her relationship with abhishek. So even if she wasn't married into the bachan family she would have been successful. After marriage only her priorities changed and it's fine as its her choice)

I m not defending her actions but when you term someone like aishwarya rai as "MASSIVE FLOP STAR" who has achieved so much , its doesn't seem fair!

Dint she do sarabjit , jazba and fanney khan post aradhya ? This taking care of her baby excuse is ridiculous.. she has done more number of films post baby compared to kareena .. it’s a separate topic that how kareena is called bankable and a star with no solo hit films since more than a decade..

I love the way how all the aish haters have crawled out of there caves to hate on her. Yet they continue to say we dont care abt her. Why r u so obsessed then? Make a topic abt rani and ppl barely reply yet when it comes to aish ppl bring in everyone. Anyways, I like rani but not more than aish so I will defend her by any means.

I agree, she is a massive flop star. If she didn't screw up her relationship with Salman, she would have surpassed Madhuri Dixit in her time. We could have seen Veer Zaara and 2, KANK 1 and 2, perhaps even more KJO films with SRK and a film with Aamir. What could have happened would have changed the history books. But we ended up with Raavan and lame Action Replayy. LOLLLLLL
