I feel like the DP-Sonam episode had more bite back in the day because it was common knowledge that Ranbir cheated on DP (a then less established actress) and leveled up to a #1 actress at the time (Kat). So at the time, there was still a little sympathy for DP since it was obvious how much that breakup stung. Dunno what Sonam was on about though😆

I doubt this Jhanvi-Sara-Karthik thing will have the same effect. Sara and Karthik were done a long time ago. Jahnvi and Karthik are hardly public knowledge. Karthik's now living his best life with his box office success. Sara and Jhanvi are just going to end up looking petty, nothing else

It will be....once Jhanvi-Kartik match the stardom of Deepu-Ranbir.....also because Deepu held on to it...and never really let it go....

I don't think so. For all her crassness, DP is very shrewd. She played it so smartly that the sympathy was with her. Nepo wasn't a thing at the time, but she was still the outsider who was treated badly by Bollywood's prince.

I don't believe she harbors anything for RK and has not in sometime. Every dumb thing she says, all the rumors she still lets circulate, are calculated to bring attention. RK used the flavors of the months to get himself the stud image, and she turned it around on him. Both really sordid in my opinion, but that's the world in which they operate.

With re: Jhanvi and Karthik, sympathy will be with him. She won't win.
