One goes to the Miss World pageant and the other Miss Universe, so how exactly does one “beat the other one” ? Am I missing something ?

Sush beat Aish at the Ms India contest....Aish was the first runner up and Sush was the winner....Ms Universe is for the winners from each country....and Ms World is for the 1st runner ups.....

What was Sush suffering for...she said she was very sick when she was 38 and then 43?

The only one thing I disagreed was what she said about having an affair with married men and didn't want people to judge her...well its wrong and people will judge rightfully....other than that it was such gem of an interview and not to say that she kept Twinkle in control...😆

Her adrenaline glands stopped working completely and doctors told her she has to be on steroids for the rest of her life which had its side effects..she said she would feel weak and her face started swelling up..some years later doctors told her that miraculously her adrenaline glands have started working and eventually she was put off the steroids

You would go to Miss Universe competition when you are ranked Winner of Miss India..Miss World when you are Runner Up and Miss Asia (then) when you were 2nd Runner Up

Sush was the winner of Miss India..Aish came 2nd

No one asks Lara that coz no one in the world along with Priyanka herself ever thought she will even make it to top 10..she was not considered competition as she herself said many would call her average looking..In fact it was Lara who was touted as a winner when she decided to compete in Miss India as she was a super model who had already won 2 titles before including Gladrags Mega Model & Miss Intercontinental where as Aish was considered a winner from day 1..as many as 25 girls withdrew their names coz they thought no one has a chance..

Looks like the system has changed today as the Miss India and Miss Diva are both separate competitions. Manushi won World and she’s on the same “Miss India” list as Sush and Lara. In that regard I guess I wouldn’t say Ash lost but I guess according to the old format she did ?

Yes its different now but till early 2000s it was like I mentioned above

Aish came 2nd..so Sush beat her in Miss India 94 and came 1st..

I don’t like twinkle but sush was good loved the fact she kept snacking 😂

A few thing that she said I loved:

- just being you is enough

- learn to speak you’re mind gracefully

- and most children are raised by a single parent weather married or unmarried

At that time Ash was super hyped up

Her Pepsi commercial was all the rage. The fact that Sush beat her in the last minute when Ash almost had it in her bag. Possibly why both had a sort of cold war.

Plus Sush went on to become the first Miss Universe for India making history where as we already had Miss World.

There was also noise and rumours that if Ash would have won she would have lost Miss Universe.

I think both becoming mothers have become very cordial towards each other

Would love to see their interview together, the journey from rivals to bonding over motherhood would have been interesting
