What's your opinion on the trajectory of Ranveer Singh's career?

Do you think Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will propel his career to greater heights or is his time as a rising star over?

Pit gayi to Ranveer ka stardom shuru hone se pahle khatam

Ranveer is done

he and deepika should not put their eggs in this chopra and especially kjo basket anymore

atleast ranveer owes someting to yrf but deepika gained stardom with farah, films like piku, rohit shetty, slb etc

with it being assured that all top roles in dharma will go to alia and leftover to ananya etc she should look at newer and better directors

similarly for ranveer, he should be working with maybe some good south indian directors, shoojit, hirani, nitesh tiwari, new directors who show promise etc not same old cliques

he seems to have swallowed the bs of thes industry folks that he is a superstar, all these new actors including ranbir are nowhere close to the stardom that srk, salman, ab or rajesh khanna where it was assured they will have openings irrespective of the film's quality

Every actor has some flops, its ok, they learn from it and try to make better choices, when rk had flops people said he was done, when srk had flops people said he was done, same with aamir and salman, and now akshay and ranveer, none of these actors are done. I mean actors like Aditya Roy kapur and arjun kapoor are still in the industry so an actor like ranveer is definitely here to stay, he is one of the most versatile and talented actors in the industry.

I don’t think Ranveer is any part of any ‘camps’ though, if his wedding attendance was anything to go by, which was strictly limited to his close family and friends from outside of the industry. I think his relationships with people of the industry are strictly professional and for PR. I don’t think he has any 2AM friends in the industry.

Everyone’s career has been stalled since 2020

What is he doing after Rocky? The directors are the biggest names in his next two films, so their success won't do too much for him.
