So I watched both Bhul bhulaiya 2 and RRR and this is my reaction.

Being a huge Baahubali fan, RRR was a huge letdown for me. I felt like most of it lacked conviction even within the realm of the world that was created in the movie. Except a few genuine scenes here and there and some unintentionally funny ones, I found it a bit boring.

You're absolutely right about the conviction thing.
And I know it's a crime to expect physics laws to work in a South movie but still, in so many scenes I was face palming. Lol
Despite this, I enjoyed it overall though as the story was very engaging. May be theater experience would have been better visually.
One thing that could have been improved: the caricaturish negative portrayal of the British.
The guy who played Ram though. 😍 He looked fine. I was shocked to learn he was the same guy in Magadheera. Magadheera was my first south Indian film.
