But here he doesn't need any fake story, 5 years ago before mini fell love with neil, she indeed had feelings for mickey and they were genuine and she doesn't remember why she drifted apart from him. So yes, mickey will take full advantage of that.

In mini's pov, its like she felt some attraction towards neil, they even shared a kiss but then she doesn't remember the love, their marriage and what she remembers is that she used to have feelings for mickey. Neil might be handsome but still like a stranger to her and mickey is her childhood companion, romantic interest.
I guess in real life also it happens with almost everyone of us. We notice a handsome man, momentarily drool over him but we wont leave our partner for him however handsome that man be😆
