yes she is totally daada. Even appu thought same. Just because she married of her choice does not mean ki shaadi me problem hai. May be she just meets them once and appu gets to know her son. He comes there but Khadus does not know. Kuki also stays in appu team. So he knows as well.

THIS - is the root of the conversation. My bengali friend ranted to me about this saying how it frustrates her to watch Khorkuto showing that love marriages always fail. She was referring to Prachi's incident but that is what made me wonder if Avantika's marriage is in a happy space.

Old time pe it was like this in many families. I had my neighbor and her sister’s daughter same age. Basically oldest and youngest kid was 17-18 a part. Her mom was pregnant with her and her sister was with her youngest child.

Khadus is 30? I thought he was 27 or so? I would guess Avantika's age to be around 30-35 max...cuz DK said we've been married for more than 30 years...and Kukki should be around 40-50's since Prachi is still college going...just rough estimates!

Yes, totally possible! On my mom's side, my youngest aunt and oldest cousin are only 11 years apart. On my dad's side, I'm technically an aunt to 2 people that are 3 years older than me and aunt to many that are no more than 4 years younger than me!

It makes for some very weird family dynamics at times!

I was expecting more like a 10-15 year diff between them or something...since Mai said in some initial episode about how Kukki was still going to school or college when they got married.

He could be in grade 1-2 that makes him 6-7 yrs and if they had honeymoon baby then she is 7 yrs younger to him. If not same age.

But waise bhi Khadus ki birhtday aa rahi hai na,,hamare khayali pulaav mein…to he will be a year older anyways….

Me too 😢he is just going to question everything again. He is a person that it took him so long to acknowledge such feelings to himself and now he will rethink again. He may even suppress his feelings until he realizes that ultimately she did well. I don’t know how this will go but a broken promise becomes very crucial in a relationship—all ultimately goes back to trust correct. We hated it when Khadus couldn’t and didn’t trust Apu and here she is breaking a promise and it becomes ok because hee intentions were good or it was for the family. Great but Khadus was never Apu’s enemy either, he believed in the evidence and how his wife has been in the past. Both actions different but can we blame him for not trusting his wife then? At this point, my anger regarding him is only his harsh words and he said he was embarrassed to have her as his wife like such things I still mad at him for. Also for being an idiot when it comes to Netra. Anyway, now chances for any closure for the last track are minimal. I don’t know how this track will play out for Shappu but if she hasn’t broken his promise, maybe we could have gotten a realization from him that he has never trusted her and stuff like that. I don’t know

I just wished that Apu hadn’t promised instead and just said you have your beliefs and methods and I have mine. I can promise you though to take everyone’s feelings into account and step forward. I don’t know just something more straightforward and open.
