Their idea of romance is to insert a token scene of V taking flowers for her and then cutting short that scene to like 20secs without even completing the date.
Then they show him stay 6 feet apart in bed in the name of honest conversation.
All these token romance is SO fake. Even so, I personally lap up anything Sairat and watch it on loop. But its missing the spark there used to be. Theres a dearth of a proper heart to heart conversation, tehraav.
When Sai lets slip her insecurities those scenes could use some more depth, intimacy.
He briefly hugged Sai in last week epi n said dont ever think of another woman in my life when she raised the idea of him finding another woman but that moment also lasted like 15-20 secs and right after that hes still seen staying away from the bedroom.
So these things are not fulfilling the purpose. They lack sincerity, depth, emotional intimacy.
I loved the KD moment when Imon tells Rono that she takes liberty with him like her dad because he is her closest family. She tells him how after her dad he's all she has and its such a beautiful emotional moment. I loved their conversation about imon speaking about how she held herself back because she thought he loved RK. In one other scene she asks him if she cant feel possessive about him. In KD when shivani type character was getting married/Imon was planning something, there is a very sweet moment where she tells him to support her even though she doesn't reveal the full plan. In the flirty back n forth n nok jhok, Rono says you are always so teekhi/gussail , i guess your mom forgot to give you honey at birth and immediately it becomes a beautiful emotional moment where Imon says -ya because I had no mom and Rono consoles her and says I like you just the way you are. And the way its done- its SO intimate. The scene post jaggu kidnap, Rono literally searches for her like a madman, breaks down and when she's back they have a very intimate moment in the bedroom. He promises to give her self defence training, she lies down on his lap....just beautiful moments of a spouse. Then theres really nice scenes in KD of imon hugging him in bed the day before he decides to go on transfer n Rono is all emotional trying to soak in the feeling of being with her. Then there's a really nice phone conversation where Rono can clearly figure out that shes missing him a lot. So KD despite being a very problematic show in mamy ways got the spousal intimacy right. When you watch KD you'll never be confused as to who Rono is married to, whom he has the hots for and whom he loves.
Ghkkpn used to deliver some great Sairat content until anniversary kaand, got the mojo back in mimo track but after that there's a certain spark thats missing entirely.
