"And the business man of the year goes to.... any guesses? Yup... once again to the man who holds the world in his smile... Anuj Kapadia."
As he walked to the dias, she clapped the hardest. Her man... her husband... her Anuj... she was so proud of him. When he had called this morning and told her about the award function, she hadn't wanted to go but he had refused to go unless she came so she had tagged along. She hadn't refused because she wasn't proud... oh no no no... she was the proudest of them all to see her husband getting the award but her past often loomed over her brain throwing memories and shadowing her present life. Her husband had been very supportive and she worked hard to come out of it. Like today, she was sitting in the midst of people she hardly knew. From the looks of it, they were all better qualified and better dressed than her. Her ex husband had always made it clear that he never wanted to take her to business parties because she was different. She lifted her eyes and looked at the beautiful dignified women all around her making eyes at her husband and sighed, she still looked 'different'. The voice of her husband broke her thoughts.
"Thank you for this recognition.... but this award... doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the one woman who is responsible for me standing here... Scratch that... standing anywhere... my best friend, my partner, my life, my everything.... my dear wife... Anupama."
As a thundering applause filled the hall, she felt her cheeks redden and she clutched her fingers nervously hoping against hope he won't call her to the dias.
"So, is she here?"
"Of course...."
As his eyes swept over the crowd and fixed on hers, she nodded in negative, her lips trembling. She didn't want to be made a laughing stock.
"Excuse me..."
He walked down towards her and held out his hand.
"You are my biggest award... anything in this world is incomplete without you... my love...my everything..."
She looked up and her eyes filled up as the devotion and love in his struck her heart. She forgot everything else... her inhibitions, the people around, the place... it was just him and her. Instead of taking his outstretched hand, she leapt into his arms. He held her wrapping his hand around her waist. Lifting her up, he carried her to the dias where they received the award as one.

He pushed her against the wall, caging her in his arms. Nuzzling his nose against the crook of her neck, he whispered
"Mohatarma... you have been staring at me throughout the evening...."
She wrapped her hands around his neck and lifted her head to give him better access. As he continued his exploration with his tongue, she moaned
"Anujjjjj...."
"Mmmmm..."
"Don't..."
He looked up.
"What?"
She pulled him closer to her.
"Don't tease me... too much... you have done that all evening... now enough..."
"Mmm hmmm..."
"Mmm..."
