In my opinion she could bring good drama to the show. Her equation with imlie isn't dependent on Tripathies. She's imlie's half sister and she has her own reasons to go against imlie and Arylie together.

Audience feel connection with her because her character arc was build properly since beginning. Her vengeance against Arylie will make sense.

TBVH i don't think Mayuri wants to come back because she got a lot of unnecessary hate from old viewers. She doesn't want to get involved in that toxicity again.

TRP system is very messed up. We have only 50,000 Trp meters across the country to decide what will country of over billion population watch 🤪

There's no guaranty Even if you watch on TV that your streaming will be counted in Trp numbers.

If you noticed Ek has only one show on Sitara which is YHC spin off of YHM. Otherwise she's pretty much staying away from Sitara due to that reason. She's running her Bhagya series on Zee for a reason😆
