Also, about that bisleri bottle and sanitizing everything. There is this science fiction series from Asimov (Robot series) where mankind has branched off where one kind lives over 300 years whereas the other is still the same. They both mistrust each other

The regular lifespan guys notice that spacers wear noseplug,masks and santisize things and dont touch them. They believe its because they are snobbish and consider them dirty. When in truth they live in isolation so their immune system is so weak that germs are lethal to them

NRIs etc live and grow up in sanitized environment. Their kids develop allergies. They have adapted to w cleaner place. So germs which are mild for normal indians become more serious for them.

Rich people behaving snobbishly or looking down on others is bad. But going in the opposite direction and not understanding different lifestyle, values, way of living is equally stupid. Wanting more cleanliness, carrying a handkerchief, drinking from a clean bottle, there is nothing wrong or snobbish with you. Its like if you grew up without a toilet and then you use a toilet you cannot go back to doing it outdoor. Now will you consider it snobbish that this person will now always want to use toilets?

Its time we let go of poverty pron, its time the well to do stop apologizing for who they are and how they live. Its not like the regular people on indian street treat others with politness or respect. Most interactions are strictly for business and money. So why is the onus on NRIs or rich to behave differently? No one is taking each others theka. As long as you are not rude, no one owes anyone anything, including touching anyone

The writers have this same limited thinking. Having different lifestyle or being well to do makes you evil. In order to not be evil while being rich, you need to be a doormat like Anuj
